What I Should Have Said

''You don't deserve to look at my reflection,'' is what she last said to me,
when she realized I wouldn't give her any more money.
How I should have responded occurred later to me,
''Vampires don't reflect, so no worries honey,'
instead I just didn't respond at all, regretfully.'
