Make sure you know
what you’re trying to say
But let readers figure it out
— for themselves

Indian found America
Fifteen thousands years ago
Through Beringia crossing
Just for your information
Dear lovely or not readers
My writing requires an edit
After each line I regret it
It can't get much worse
Load this verse in a hearse
As readers try to forget it
Words are used every day
Our mouths make them spoken
Readers can make them read
Drawings can make them seen
Said words can make you hurt
There once was a poet so dire,
Whose verses set readers afire.
With chaos unbound,
No rhythm or sound,
They called it a dumpster fire!
A tale
laced with arcane,
readers hiccup through it;
Quaint text they cannot decipher
peeps out.
prose brings prosaic mind
juice-less words to find
the readers
two features
rhyme, non-rhyme each kind

When I compose in English rhymes,
I feel........ I'm doing heavy crime.
I write and cry, and heart my bleed on,
I pity all my English readers!
It seems one poet's pet beef
Is causing our readers some grief
Although ink may bleed
He may not succeed
Unless "deaf" can be rhymed with "leaf"
Best
This rhyme just passed the test.
It surely must be better than the rest.
No moral to teach,
Just readers to reach,
It clearly is one of the best!
English writer Jane Austen -
Reading was a thing she could get lost in.
Never married; died at forty-one.
With romance novels, her readers' hearts she won.
The best of Poets don’t explain,
their truth the readers judge
The best of Poets to remain,
what time will hate
—or love

I like Poet Soup
Lots of people read my stuff
It's encouraging
Thanks all you poets
Only you can stop me now
Thanks all you readers
The brain is a pet to go fetch
Dreams etched in deep thought as a sketch
Of hope and despair
That's analyzed with care
As skilled readers let their minds stretch
P-oems written by me
O-nly I can create what I write

No you can’t read them!
Why?
Because if you did
It would be as though
I was standing naked before you,
Stripped of my defenses and vulnerable
For all the world to see.

" As I’ve said before, I love when readers find their take of the story. We oft write collaborations :) " ~ The big poetess Kim Rodrigues.

Some writers struggle
Coughing up words in a painful way
I feel a bit of their agony as I read their missives
A jumpy spotty difficult flow is painful to readers too
A treasure trove
delicately opened
Anticipation's tingling...
Waves of pleasure
pour over breathless fingers
Enchanted readers
pore over fields of precious letters
There once was a chap named Aloysius
Who penned poems oh-so-gigglicious--
So sharp was his wit
His readers' sides split--
Yet his fine points were just meretricious
