Always stay classy,
you make me want to be ratchet;
Imagination;
These thoughts that I am having;
Oh, What you would think of me.

Premium Member Twilight Settles In

Twilight settles in
     after the wind drops off
   when the lightning bugs
     flash on and off
   and the crickets
     ratchet up their screeching

   later, still as a cemetary
     ~ dead of the night

Build a Better Mousetrap

I'm not all that handy,
nor so very bright too
I sometimes ask dumb questions
that's one thing I'm apt to do

One day I asked my father;
"Say, Dad, what's a ratchet?"
he fixed me with a wise look,
and said, "Son, it's just a
bit bigger than a mouse sh_t!

Socket

Comeback God sacked a craft sassed to last /
Grasp no slack or sag with the rap slap/
Pressure the bag and tip of the cap /
Coder crack hat and lift that latch /
Off the docket and out the casket /
Almost a tragic trashed hit had him cashed in /
Dodged that tactic now have the out to last kit /
Hoss’s odds lodged a socket to play with any ratchet

Don and Ben are at it again

History is just a succession of not great men

What sages for ages on pages did spot & pen

Confession get the impression are right again

Mystery as why don't all ken the dragons den

Gist Don & Ben zealots plots with Zionist zen

When ratchet the hate up to ten they say amen

Lost in mist narcissist tryst of the fist now & then

Ridiculously Regal

Riot and rebellion reoccur in my rest.
has been ramified and ranked, in My rate
Round and round, revealing remorse
Righteous reputation, reverse reverence
Rack on my ratchet and roar to the rope.
Resident reutilization is running out of the Romp.
Give up the race to rehabilitate Renal.
Reverential Razor Ridiculously Regal

Premium Member A Darling Love

So I embrace her with the arms of God ; I sing to her but with the mouth of angels choirs; Staring at on horizon with eagle eyes; I walk on the water floating like swimming swans; For she is the heart that I love; Enhance future tense one day will fly above; Like two sparrows rising high; Ratchet raptured up alive to meet Jesus in the sky;

Premium Member Scorpions and Horses

Tonight I'll saddle up the scorpion
kicking to hell its armored flanks
ratchet legs charging straight ahead
poison lance hovering above my head
claws snapping at the cooling desert wind,
hunting for fiery pieces of moon-tinged sin.
I'll romp with a band of glass-blown vamps
in Bosh's tasseled garden of earthly delights-
Come sunrise, I'll dismount my poisonous tank
don a tie and ride a three-piece suited Pegasus.

Gentrified

Ratchet Gentrification
Sneaky Dislocation
A People Sank Deeper Into An Abyss of Desperation
No Lubrication....
In Summation....
Screwed...
Without Consideration
of The Deprivation of Unaffordable Habitation
Nostalgic Disintegration
Of Memories Nesting in the hearts of Generations
Shameful Demonstration of Humanity...
Straight up Insanity...
Sad to Say
Failure to Realize Damage Done Today...
Create a Price Future Offspring Will Pay....

I'M So Passionate About Poetry...

... That maybe I need to ratchet it down a bit,
Least I appear too annoyingly enthusiatic. (HAHAHAHA)
But I want you all to know,
             The beauty of poetry
                 And my appreciation
                      For all it's form
                        Or where it came from

Is my heart's most fervent passion.....

Sans Stilettos

Nancy took a tumble
And went falling down the stairs.
The slickness of the marble
Must have caught her unawares.

Yet who at 84 years old
Wears shoes with 4-inch heels?
Though since a hip replacement,
There’s a photo that reveals

That Pelosi, back at work,
Left her stilettos in the dust.
She’s sporting clogs, a look to which
She might have to adjust.

We all make compromises
As we ratchet up the years,
Though despite her new flat shoes,
She still will tower o’er her peers.
