Peace Within
“When my pain is bleak
And relief is fleeing
My thoughts become weak
With recklessness”

“Agony brings infamy
To my heart of pain
And the peace of Christ
Excels my thought of rashness”

“And meds for coping
Lessens my sadness
Lower my woes
Of high distress”

“And peace from within
Derived from up high
Quiet my thoughts
Of suicide”...

Say So
...speak sporadically in soft sassy syllables
...open opulent overtures to appease my err
...revoke risque rashness of the adulterer
...modulate too many manic memories.

savor satiable sweetly shared sensations,
admire adored avenues divinely alone.
target toxic tones forever together,
why wholly wade, wondering where we
faithfully failed famous fortuity forever?...

Regrets
Regrets

Antagonisms perceived
Leave us aggrieved
Hearts broken
Tender spirits token

Words miss-read
Actions miss-lead
Clamors in the night
Pleading miss-sight

Sides taken
Lines shaken
Blindness bodes
Heavier loads

Rashness steps
Action’s regrets
Unthinking eyes
When misery cries

Matters adrift
Sieve and sift
Love enduring
Pardons ensuing

Antagonisms perceived
Leave us aggrieved
Hearts broken
Tender spirits token...

Premium Member Wisdom With Words
Words, words so many
so hard to control
why can't we do so?
when they can damage our soul

Scripture says be careful
not to speak with rashness
as God hears our every word
to do so would be madness

So it would be sensible
to make our words few
that indeed would be wise
for once spoken hard to undo

It's wise to listen to God
for He always knows best
as the creator started the world
so follow Him to be blessed

Bitterness
Bitterness,
Sparks like a bright light lit, from his tortured heart,
shone through.
The weariness of a lost soul that carried a flame
through the wind.
Rashness in his speech.
Bitterness,
For giving and forgiving.
Here his alms.
Here his family.
For giving and forgiving in deathly rain.
Meeting in the quavers of silence, which time carried.
A charter oak tree.
In a lions den.
Engrave on it the date.
From the Liberty Bell I hear no ring....
