The gray dawn baptized,
lost child of the night
Salvation ransomed
—new morning’s delight
(Villanova Pennsylvania: April, 2017)
Across calm waters
Where sky meets sea,
This world's bonds encompass we.
Beyond,now out of view,
A better place---
A realm,for the ransomed free,
With rooom,earmarked for thee?
Long before title,
long before name
A wish was granted,
to begin again
Legacy ransomed,
escape from the night
A voice breaking through
—into the light
(Villanova Pennsylvania: December, 2016)
Long before title,
and long before name
A wish was granted,
—to begin again
A legacy ransomed,
escape from the night
A voice breaking through,
—calling into the light
(Villanova Pennsylvania: December, 2016)
I walked down a road called love,
why didn't they warn you my soul,
that the road is full of booby traps.
With all manner of untold perils..
you my soul would be captured
never to be ransomed again Eva..
#bubles in time
My life was found in pain
I was ransomed for a pen
Never will I permit my soul to ache
I won't construct the same mistake
I was throbbing everyday
My grief was unheard anyway
Now I will stand compacted
My aplomb will be contracted
Heaven…
…magnificently glorious
…awaiting ransomed believers…
bought by Saviour’s precious blood*
Forever!
*1Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Draw a stick figure
future - diminished
and virus ransomed.
Paint the landscape
with the sweltering glare
of global warming.
Come share this
with me - let kisses heal and
soft whispers inflame.
Some locks need two keys
to open, some heavens can
be reached by mortals.
my life found in pain ransomed for a pen but never eager in pain.
Always grateful when in pain,
never will I pain.
Because I am grateful for my stance.
Am going where I know but I know not where I go for my life won't be in chance pummeled in my face but that was only because of chance.
My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God my savior has ransomed me
And like a flood
Mercy breaks
Unending love
Amazing Grace
The verses to this song are the old hymn Amazing Grace
I don't know who wrote this new version chorus but it is beautiful!!
It touches my heart!
I did not write this!!
A Prince of Life,
A Prince of Death,
two courts for him to flee
One horse disappears under a
ransomed moon,
a drawbridge now unseen
Eyes close tight
and turn within,
all royalty disowned
As the King calls once
and the Queen calls twice
—the Jester on the throne
(Villanova Pennsylvania: December, 2016)
BEYOND THE HORIZON
Across calm waters
Where sky meets sea,
This world's bonds encompass we.
Beyond,now out of view,
A better place---
A realm,for the ransomed free,
With room,earmarked for thee?

I feel you, as in some place mate's fare
that falling waters penetrating share,
fall purposely as from thy kinship's care
a motherland, a father, and a bear.
Breaks even to my heart at eventide
and all about me art could not collide
from promises, faith's ransomed soul's abide
still knowing you are comfort to my side!
A Prince of Life—A Prince of Death,
two courts for him to flee
One horse disappears under a ransomed
moon,
—a drawbridge now unseen
Eyes close tight and turn within,
all royalty disowned
As the King calls once and the Queen
calls twice,

Shouting and screaming
about events far away
Protestors shut down
the Golden Gate Highway
An important trial had to be canceled
business-as-usual victimized, ransomed
to the vain yells of the progressive nation
which won't affect one iota
Hamas' devastation
Dishearten was I in foreign land
Unjust Kings enslaved me
Until His Unfailing Nail Pierced Hands
From enslavement saved me
Now strongly praised beyond compare
Rock of my Salvation
Build in me a house to dwell
With unyielding dedication
Hear my new song
The Joyful shall sing
This Ransomed Nation Thankful for His
Sacrifice, Amazing Reconciliation
It was many years ago,
while looking for lasting love,
initially I came to know
a woman with radiant glow
that ignited the stars above.
Right from the very start
I knew it was forever.
She ransomed my lonely heart,
and never we’d be apart;
it was love’s life endeavor.

I am ransomed!
As I kneel at his feet
Broken and weary, he lifts me up
Clean, unblemished before the Father, I stand
Once, a lost and wandering sheep, but, no more!

My diamonds are the tears of Christ
shed on Calvary.
My rubies are the drops of blood
that ransomed you and me.
My riches are'nt in worldly things,
I don't need them now, you see,
I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams,
Christ lives and I am free.
My soul is saved because of Him,
for Heavenly things I strive.
I've no need for silver and gold,
my names in the Lambs Book of Life!
Be glad in the Lord*
...as redeemed eternally
ransomed, heaven-bound.
Rejoice now in Christ
…as His called faithful steward
worshiping gladly.
Serve along God’s joy
…as Gospel of peace bearer
midst sincere love’s peace.
*Psalm 32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

The sand men don't sleep at night.
They've ransomed you're dreams.
Put them up on a wall that all can see except you,
You they use as a mirror for everyone else.
Though this isn't about your magnanimity.
This is about the angels that support your wake.
This is about an unknown clearance:
The emotional skyline.
A gesture towards you from someone's father
("go, get 'em!" he seems to say)
As the Earth continues to rotate.
Reaches me from heaven
Restoration sublime
Rescued now by God’s love
Ransomed blest soul of mine
Reverberates with praise
Revived and triumphant
Ready to serve the Lord.
Psalms 107:2 - Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy.

Restoration of soul
ransomed by love’s mercy*
repents from guilt angst, now
ready to worship while
refreshed spirit so blest
reaching out to others
radiates God's peace-bliss.
*Habakkuk 3:2 …O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy.

(a poem in Haiku and Senryu)
Draw a stick figure
future - sadly diminished
and chaos ransomed.
Paint the landscape
with the sweltering glare
of global warming.
Add micro-plastic
and forever chemical
flavorings to taste.
Come share this
with me - let kisses heal and
soft whispers inflame.
Some locks need two keys
to open, some heavens can
be reached by mortals.

A song for this:
All Gone Away by The Style Council
Ransomed from sin’s debt, I’m freed
Paid by Saviour’s blood indeed
Willing to be spent with grace
My precious life gives Him praise.
Striving to live through faith’s creed
Propelled by God’s mighty deed
I abound* in good works’ ways
Optimizing wondrous days.
*1Corinthians 15:58 …Be ye…, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
