Ticking Time Bomb
With an arrow through my heart, you poisoned my soul
Toxic fumes ran ramped
Appalled at your conniving actions;
Body is numb, icicles for fingers
Crying inside
My mind has become a ticking time bomb
The explosion is bound to be epic...

Premium Member Poetry In the Wind
A summer wind came barging in
    to block two winter storms
I just blew in, she chirped
to keep you big boys warm

  The storms ramped up
    soon temperatures dropped
  The summer wind winced
    her initiative flopped

  Back home the wind flew
    to sunny, tropical climes
'Twas the last time she'd venture
    to block icy cool rhymes...

Star-crossed at Karaoke
Mobile ring tones at morning light,
disturb the shapes under covers,
the outlined echoes of last night,
two star-crossed microphone lovers,
drawn from opposite ends of town,
yesterday’s pub entertainers,

Thought I had it at one point in time. Now I have a tangled mind. She was cheating how could this be? My heart is broken, my tears are dried. A cross roads lies up ahead. What direction should I go? I love her so much it hurts to do, but why should I come back to you?

Pitfall of Insanity
My self mutated behavior
Resides over me
A disturbing dark form
Drifts there permanently
The sadistic hovering mass
Forces torrential downpours
Which rain decaying acidities
Sweeping over me instantly
As an infectious disease
Running ramped through my blood
I have yet to catch my breath
And still it pushes forward
I have damned the innocent
Or is it with my self loathing
Grudge seeking, spiraling pitfall of insanity
I have damned myself
