Cross Roads

On a hot and dusty day, my feet carry me far away. With nothing in sight but blue skies, thoughts run ramped through my mind. Praying to my father and friend above, Searching for the meaning of love. Thought I had it at one point in time. Now I have a tangled mind. She was cheating how could this be? My heart is broken, my tears are dried. A cross roads lies up ahead. What direction should I go? I love her so much it hurts to do, but why should I come back to you?

Frank ought to really like this cross roads poem, Cory. I am ok. It's been a very bad year for me but life is not as bad as for others that have it so hard! (and how are YOU?)

Take a right, or take a left. Either way your loves bereft. Tomorrow's coming evermore. As yesterday closes today's door. But love is for the hopeful sinner. If you find it again then you're a winner.

Those questions always haunt us after a breakup, Cory. This is a beautifully written entry for Frank's contest. (Check spelling in title) I'm sending winning wishes your way. Love, Carolyn

I am not sure if this is a personal write..if it is...infidelity can be cured with God's help over time..I know this personally...trust and faithfulness are God's gifts to us and we can model these after Him and restore what was lost. It is not easy and takes much time..Restoring the Fallen gives a framework to use if the other person is willing. Hugs, Gwendolen
