I sit here pondering which piece to move, where it fits, and connecting the groves.
There is no strategy, no technique.
A challenge for the mind, where the brain has grown weak.

Puddle MAYHEM
puddle SMASHING
puddle DASHING
puddle CRASHING
SOAKING WET
Not SUMMER TIME YET.
NOT even close
AUTUMN AT MOST
THE PURPOSE OF
PUZZLING PUDDLOLOGY
SOAKING WET.
How esoteric
No one could figure this out
Mysterious and puzzling
As situations come about
The people are speaking
But, there is lots of ambiguity
Unless we remove these clouds
No one will see clearly
Find me in my costly time
Reading books to learn
Puzzling phrases together
Tending the exciting crime
Surrounded with pen and paper so cute
Adorable in front of the table
Come and find me in my solitude
The negligent parent
Was never there
How cryptic and puzzling?
His heart was not sincere

Back to the fortress
So she can find herself
In a state of bewilderment
And needing to seek help
Something seems to trouble her
But, the words never appear
Mysterious and puzzling
The outlook is unclear
We deal with life
It is hard for us each day
Cryptic and puzzling
And yet, we still move through the maze
Often battle tested
Because, we want success
We continue to lift our spirits
And strive for excellence
I
try
to think
with reason
and good common sense
in every puzzling circumstance.
And still, sometimes, I make very poor decisions!
That, however, does not stop me at all from considering every option in life.
Sometimes we search for answers
That we can not find
So cryptic and puzzling
And justifiably unkind
Pain and darkness rears its ugly head

Forgetting where I am

The Zebra has a puzzling name,
Alphabet letters strangely cast,
It finishes off with the first,
After starting off with the last!
The Zebra is a cunning beast,
It blends with the waving grass,
With stripes upon its body and head
And even stripes upon its – legs!
Severed starlight, brief lanterns
Truncate tingles, sugar burns
pen puzzling in oily ink
Dark dots on papyrus slink
Metre measure on tongue tip
Riddling rhymes gaining their grip
