For you I write my words of hope,
The sights seen through the world so deep
A vision, a hope for one to keep
Smile to the sky, raise your head
And Life will command its road to tread

Put aside your pain and your sorrow
Anticipation
stalls
hope and dreams
are put aside
temptation to be a recluse
to be wild
to buck this trend
of a constant loop
of disappointment
of regret
of random words
filtering through my head
does it ever
STOP?
fragments
and half memories
are all I remember
Though she always denies
I love to see myself in her eyes
See the truth of me, with no lies
She says it’s only a reflection
It might be, but with passionate affection
Feeling you can’t hide
Nor put aside
Call me bad or whatever
But I’ll always be in your eyes forever
I have a feeling deep inside,
Feeling I could not put aside.
Something strong shakes and stirs me up.
Something pushes me to stand-up.
My mind grieves the inhumane acts.
My heart aches in knowing these facts.
I stand to speak out through my art,

hospitals. tractors. cars. agitation.
family and friends.

wishing, hoping, for the better.

you divine child of love,
I implore Thee to help us sacrifice our
self-interest
on
the altar of common good
for
only in this way mankind could put aside
their differences and find solutions
for
the benefit of us all!

The notion to do right
in the face of danger,
like those who went
to the manger.
To put aside all that you value,
to ensure the longevity
of total strangers.
That buzzing feeling
that pushes you onward.
To those who
live vicariously
through satisfaction of,
a job well done.
They define what it is to be courageous
I feel like a toy
put aside while you go else where for amusement
you say stop being so needy
but don't you need me?
I thought you would never want to leave
but that is what you wanted me to believe
that I was safe and sound
but I've found
it was all a trick
you said words that stick like glue
i no longer love you
Christmas is coming
where rush is the fear
When all of my time
is pressed for cheer
That all that I do
is put aside
The things that I love
like work and pride
For opening Christmas
to love and cheer
When hearts for another
are bacon and beer
And all of that season
is saying to come
To all of my brothers
and sisters alum
Slip this mortal coil and with the angels ride
All this day’s troubles now put aside
Untold secrets you may keep
Drift with slumber deep
No more tears
Sleep
Forget fears
Now God’s blessing reap
The unknown road may be steep
With sweetest dreams let your heart abide

I know a little tabby cat
her fluffy tummy slightly fat
She wobbles as she jogs along
I worry, is there something wrong
My worries are now put aside
that tabby cat now lies with pride
