Stars Are Alike
Let's write a promissory note
Let's have a tryst once before death
We might not end up in same space
I might end up at separate place
For, stars are alike in all universe....

Bouncing Check
Every human is a baby of a kind
Baby conceived is, a promissory note,
The one just born, an overdraft,
Adult baby, a bouncing check.
Old baby, a withering flower
Which one is perfect baby?...

Hope
On the verge of extinction,
Yet battling its way out of my heart,
Like a bird gone rouge trapped in its cage.

Whispers promissory notes that its never too late,
Neglecting the omission of forgery.

Parents nagging for salvation,
But blinded by shades of deception,
I tell them I'll be okay at the end of the day.

Inspirational when all is divine,
Degrading when all is deficient.

Hope,
The contradictory standard....

Dad For You I Will
You and I alone so warm
Is it really real you're gone?
Do I still love you
In expanse of this vacuum?

From me though gone
Your memories with me live
On and shall for long
Bring you back home.

This secret between you and I
Promissory letter of new sunrise
To carry on your great legacy.
Dad, for you I will!!!

*In honour of my late dad who passed away on Saturday 22/10/2016 and buried on Saturday 12/11/2016...

Poet Library
the tsundoku trail beckons me,
a promissory path of pleasures to be had,
veiled in the haze of unexplored possibilities.
i take my first steps into the secret museum,
strolling into the forest of forgotten volumes,
each one brimming of worlds yet unseen.
my breast thrums with curiosity,
echoing the eternal rhythm of the psuche:
"what lies missing, these dogeared pages?"
now that my friends, is the mystery..
“welcome to Poetry Soup.”...

The uncertain
Decimal point is real yet
Unforeseen
The last scene of the
Latest dream of a
Vague and future
 happiness

The language is Pigeon
And unfamiliar
An inspiration of
Lukewarm winds
An overdrawn account
Of promised future days
Compromised and
Secured only in unsigned
Promissory notes

And yet the plan is
To retire young
While the infirm
Await their turn
To expire
To the tune of a
Closed account
