A sweet strange friend
Unkown, Unless i tend to know
Un-despecible, Oh I value her so much
Whats so unusual that we seem to be so close
Whats so withering about it towards my pain
 
A sweet strange friend
Beautiful, Unless I want to take a glance
Un-Procrastinated, Oh compells me to
Is it real? or apart of my thoughts
Whats so special about it, About this fraught....

Occasionally we might miss
Performers so admired
Their talents still get airtime
Though it’s years since they’ve expired.

A case in point is Leonard Cohen – 
I knew of his existence,
But to his books and concerts somehow
I displayed resistance.

However, a museum has
A very moving show
Filled with footage of his singing
And so much I didn’t know.

I guess no one can stop me,
Though I have procrastinated,
From becoming one of Leonard’s fans,
Although a bit belated....

I lack muse and direction

Drinking,
My hot chocolate keeps me company
