Looks Like Latest Rage
Looks Like Latest Rage

Looks Like what became Latest Rage,
When minds of the many may engage;
Have a heart;
Not pick apart,
After they read my Horn poetry page.

Sink Or Swim
I ramble and shove words together
And sometimes I pick apart my unpleasant thoughts
Look,

I can try to remember
I can try to forget
It’s sink or swim and I can’t tell which is which...

Compliments
COMPLIMENTS

A compliment can change the way,
The recipient will spend their day.
Lifting moods in times of need,
A pay it forward type of seed.
To criticize and pick apart,
It's damaging to one's heart.
So make an effort to be kind,
You never know what friends you'll find!!!

Elemental
Im strong and solid in my stance
like mountains holding on thru time
i feel the flow of peoples dance
like waves as they begin to climb
my words are soft but cut to bone
like gentle breeze to hurricanes
tho lies are all ive ever known
truth spreads like flames on grassy plains
i see now my connection to
the earth and all the elements
and with this new found power, YOU
can pick apart it's relevence......

raw
i can slaughter the girl i once was, but i must learn how to love the woman i have become.

i can eat my decomposing body, to feed my new one.

pick apart all the rotten things about me, separate them from my beauty.

i can dissect and collect everything about the innocent girl i once was.

but all that knowledge will never heal me.

all that flesh will never feed me.

all that beauty will never satisfy me.

Hurt
Pick apart my bare body
And witness the scars
Woven into my flesh.
Do you wonder
If you made them?
Not with your hands,
Or with a blade,
But with your absence?
With the weeks of silence
And months of lies
You fed me?
With the laughter
You gave others
But not to me?
You claim innocence,
That others have hurt you,
But did you not hurt me as well?
Is that an excuse
I should accept
With the open arms
That still have your bruises on them?...

Back To the Start
I was guessing at numbers
this puzzle I pick apart
it is all a question of science
that I sing from deep in my heart
tell me if you love me
take it back to our very start
as it all spins around in circles
bringing us back to where we are

I didn't say it would be easy
it never is with crimes of the heart
there are no rules to follow
I didn't think it would be this hard
as it all spins around in circles
bringing us back to where we are
is it too late for a new start?...
