Vino
it has often been
asked perhaps
philosophically

about the liquid
in a glass if it
is half empty
or half full

if it's
a dark red
and very dry
wine the glass

will
always
be full all
of the time...

Cogito Ergo Sum Confusion
What if the great Rene Descartes,
Renaissance man of many parts.
for all his fame and coruscation
is nothing but a fine creation
of my own imagination?

Philosophically disabused.
I think therefore I am

confused....

the curvature of two hearts, in sleep,
with oven-like warmth, philosophically deep.
comfort of your natural build and fragrance.
the vesper of your forever, charming essence.

Perfect Knight
He appears in colourful hues,
Like a rainbow untouched,
A man of good deeds,
Philosophically kind,
Well-educated and intelligent,
Gentle with an assertive manner,
Mysterious and shy,
Bold and brave,
A king commanding his kingdom,
Always benevolent towards parents and children,
Blessed with many talents,
Godly in his ability to communicate,
A good-looking man that I would like to meet again.

Philosophically Speaking
To produce a logic table
Clearly in your mind
Other possible worlds
The purpose of your find.

It's not empirical truth we seek
Only a Gedanken experiment
Knowledge that we cannot show
Proof that makes us sentient.

The greatest happiness or the moral right
Kant verses Mill
Empiricist or Rationalist
An argument of will.

So choose your dialectic
As Plato was taught
Because a life without philosophy
Is a life without thought....

Impress Me Iii,Setting Sail Philosophically
As the day transforms to night,
My future expands, and I see light.
With determination, and refusal of fail,
I feel the wind, and now I've set sail.
The air so fresh and easy to breathe,
No stress or anxiety, I feel so freed.
Using every single mistake I have made,
As a stepping stone, on the path I have laid.
I now see my trail as I carry on,
Head held high, I'm proud, I'm strong.

The Soupie !
Vicariously
Brilliantly
Gregariously
Ambitiously
Eagerly
Writing words from day to day

Vehemently
Humbly
Fervently
Instinctively
Understanding
Learning what others have to say

Profusely
Intensively
Literally
Reflectively
Philosophically
Reading each other’s poems undercover

Openly
Honestly
Realistically
Copiously
Liberally
Commenting our thoughts to one another~

In the Middle of the Night
Pondering
A wonderful process
Wondering in the middle of the night.
Discovering!
Deeply viewing.
Thinking microscopically.
Imagining intricately.
Analyzing philosophically.
Outside, stars twinkle.
The moon glows bright.
Bird chirps remain mute.
Lonely crickets seranade darkness.
The morning waits.
Inside, children sleep.
Quietness invites insight.
Creativity abounds.
Amid all of this thinking,
God inspires.
