drops of color
from the painter's palette
blue, orange, yellow, brown, gray, red
in infinite blackness
the planets turn
God is an artist of great masterpieces who --like Monet--
likes to shift colors on His palette throughout the light of day :)
He once lived an uninspired life
his palette a muted black and white….
until she came and filled his world
with color…
overnight.
the palette play with seven……paints the planet to produce a heaven.

Love's wide palette
starts with your heart's posture.
Our world like a working canvas
draws us among its scenes—
don't dare stand by.
palette of color
gifted wings perch on sunshine
desires no cages
lucky hummingbird
parading past trumpet vines
a nimble flier
A sunrise whisper
Blowing across life’s palette
Burnishes the days colors
Makes diamonds of the dew
Succumbs to Autumn’s waning touch
Joyful tunes making smiles bloom.
Tender tones of the Holiday Season.
Happy hymns and decorated limbs;
Combine to create a festive palette.

Each and every day,
God paints this landscape portrait,
that mankind enjoys.
Green blades gently sway
soft colors give tender eye joy

Poetry Contest: Bring Color Back Into My World
Sponsored by: Kim Rodrigues
The most beautiful
of colors vibrant and bright;
Monarch butterfly…
Bouncing through the pear tree leaves;
a graceful, flying palette.
Golden thread cypress,
Your personality, bright;
Bush of the suns’ rays.
Family resemblance, seen
In shades of yellow and green.
Proof of pudding lies on palate
Not on plate
Sweet pudding is sweet
Even if mixed with pellet.
Pudding over-eggs are best
In artist’s palette-tempera
[Epigram]
wide canvas open
palette of colours in hand
azure mixed with white
sometimes black and grey blend in
painting done by God - the sky.

A re-write
Thanks be to God
.
Little butterfly,
Please take me along with you,
Let me kiss the wide welkin.
Crawl up, tickling me,
Dip and brush my pale fingers,
In your marmalade palette.

Life is creation
not a discovery
Distant horizons
the palette we choose
Painting and singing
loving and dreaming
Memory a servant
—time but a ruse

From God’s own palette, His blessed, soft, rain!
