Emission Biochemical
The spill overwhelms-
the bank. The fish
will meet the mates.

*

Fireflies outstretch,
in green blaze, igniting
the extinct flame.

*
It is September, and
I need you, for
a final rendezvous.

My Wings To Fly
I'll outstretch my wings to fly.
Lofty and up in the sky.
In the cool breeze of the dawn,
In the warm sun of the noon.
Broadly spread over the lands and seas,
Vividly covering the shrubs and trees,
And agog, the whole clan goes at my landing....

Humbled
amidst the dunes of restless seas
my arms outstretch in sorrowed pleas
beneath the lash of winds i fall
atop the grains of sands i crawl

O Hear, O Daughter
O hear, O daughter
Spirit born not of earth and water
Stretch yourself toward His Light
Pardon yourself as He has done
Endure your mini battles under the Sun
For the major battle He has already won
You carry the Torch~ He healed the Breach
You wear the Laurel Wreathe~A Grace-Gift, indeed
Outstretch your Faith to Him as far as you can reach !

Premium Member I Gasp
I gasp

Morning is cold.
I outstretch my arm in empty reach.
I gasp.

I listen for the miracle: the shower
door closing behind him.
I gasp.

I wait for my toweled Rodin and
the whistling kettle.
I gasp.

I’m not sure if can get up today.
My breath returns and I robotically rise,
Gasping.

Premium Member Enjoying the Sunshine
Autumn echoes slowly fade
As Winter footsteps are seen
Natures spirit tamely sleeps.

Brisk wind whined as the magic
Of the feathery snow spins,
Home warm walls keep day chill out.

Sun's outstretch scattered bright rays,
Blending orange-red streaks clouds
Poise over blue free heaven.

Kids dressed warm with wet mittens,
Looking proud of their snowman
With carrot nose and twig-arms.

Sonnet To Suicide
Go this way to dusty death, And to this way the ground. Abandon all your final breaths, And learn not to make a sound. Bury yourself up to the neck, And tie the noose's knot. Keep your feelings in the wreck, And allow them all to rot. Take yourself up to the cliff, And look over to the sea. Outstretch your arms; give them lift, And embrace the death to be. Darkness rules your once clear mind When you lend unto it all your time.
