sugarcoat
chunks of dirt mingle with the bread.
cinnamon wafting in the wind.
a house of sugary bliss,
a promising deal of sweet paradise.

shoveling savories like a last meal--
bellies rising like dough,

suddenly shoved into a scalding scene.
outsides on fire,
insides igniting--
charred little children,
burnt sugar lingering on their tongues....

For Lauren
Put away that smile.
Open those blue eyes.
It has to get old,
after a while.
Don't hide behind,
don't hide the light.
Looking for love,
only you could provide.
Forget the outside,
search within.
Find inside,
what you thought was missing.
Once you plant the seed,

Turn your insides out,
and outsides in.

to take back out that smile....

Glittering “bling”, a king…
Maybe longer than some,
as they wear their insides,
on the outsides like armor.

Time, will still take his pieces.
One leg, one arm, one at a time.
Maybe to feed the ants?
Or just food for flowers?
Coming and going....

Premium Member Poor Ewe
When you're a sheep and feel unwell, it's also often true
When dipped into your medicine, you come up feeling blue
Blue from your woolly noggin-lid, down to your woolly socks
And inside from your woolly brain, down to your woolly hocks

So when you are a poorly sheep, and feel in poorly form
You're gonna feel off-colour, 'cos off-colour is the norm
And both insides and outsides are tinged with shades of blue
There's only one thing left to say, and that will be, "Poor Ewe!"...
