Irish Coffee
Inviting drink
Requires time I think
Intoxicating taste lets not waste
Smooth cream
Helps it go down like a dream
Coffee and whiskey
Outrageously risky
Fire on the taste buds and
Furnace in the tummy
Exceptionally yummy
Eire's elixir wow what a mixture...

Jealousy
Just can’t help to feel this way
Extremely mad but is it something cliche?
All I want is to be with you…
Looking at you with someone is…
Outrageously unwell
Undefined feeling for couple of times
Sorry for myself is incredibly so ashamed
Yelling myself and say “Why I’m so jealous?”...

Champagne Cake For My Birthday
She made a champagne cake for my birthday.
It was outrageously gorgeous, made fresh today.
With a moonstone cameo trim on the front and the back.
And succulent strawberries, it was totally on track.
I began to salivate the second I saw this delight.
It made me so happy, it was tasty, lithe, and light....

Sins
The Sins I commit
I admit
You know it all
Punish me your way
I’ll bow my head, I accept my fate
Have no doubt, I have true faith
Though unfortunate, I know there is no alternate
But do not deprive me of my dreams
They are, My life line
At times outrageously profane, delirious, vengeful
But they are my most beautiful...

Ocular Occlusions
Looking through a simple magnifier
Words look as big as your thumb,
Meanings, however, are not a justifier
For our being so outrageously dumb.
Never believe everything is as you see,
And be careful not to draw conclusions
For lots of things are very likely to be
The result of our ocular occlusions.

Light Verse
An Overnight
A plan between two children
Needing parental approval
Outrageously wild ideas for the evening
Vigorous plotting and planning
Enthusiastic silly making
Resounding laughter
No one is allowed to sleep
Idyllic age of about twelve
Giggling long after bedtime
Happy to stay up long after parents retire
Thrilling to see each other at breakfast...

grandmas kitten Cuss
grandma’s kitten was outrageously large
The guy at the pet store had said “no charge”
They had to get rid of it by end of day
Grandma loved that she did not have to pay
The kitten ate bags of kibbles by the dozen
And chewed off the leg of a slow-moving cousin.
He’s teething grandma rapidly explained to us.
We could hardly stand this little cuss!...

Mini mangy monster Marvin moo
Nearly never noticed anything new
Outrageously outgoing onset overdue
Plunking his plush posterior on a pew
Quizzically questioning Curly-Q
Respecting ruffians Brew, Grue and Rue.
Shimmying and shaking shivering Sue and Stew
Teaching talented Tommy Treachery too
Uniting understudies under the letter U
Vaporizing validation veering into valley view
Welcoming wild werewolf wearing blue....

Halloween Tree
The hallowed hollow tree in October was excruciatingly alive.
There were apartments that numbered more than twenty-five.
There were owls and squirrels, rabbits, voles, and moles too.
Dressed in Halloween garb, challenging each duo to a boo.
Elaborate costumes were put on the young and the old.
Some were dressed subtly, others outrageously bold.
Dancing and partying went on in the hallowed tree tonight.
The tree was as happy as it had ever been on an October night....

My Teacher
I'v had so many teachers from whom
i'm blessed
I cannot say a human is my best
But one i really must showcase
My teacher makes me feel like i'm
reserving my best
Encourages me to pull out that part i
hide deep down
Unknown to most he can be a clown
Although he seems very much like a
stern headmaster
With his trousers held up on his belly
And his outrageously big glasses
I dread the day we'll part
For this teacher there will always be a
place in my heart....

A Change of Season
It was a mild autumn day
far enough from summer’s heat
awaiting winter’s cold bite
The brilliant shafts of sunlight
ignited the vibrant colors
of autumn’s falling leaves
I watched them as they fell
tumbling down
all around me
Like outrageously large confetti
every color
from vivid scarlet to warm brown
I ran through the leaves
tossed them in the cool air
then sat amongst them on the ground
Autumn was here
a feeling of joy came upon me
a smile crept across my face...
