Abc's

Any bold cloud dancing
enjoys flirting gallantly,
hoisting; inspiring; jousting;
knowing laughter makes nice orchestrations
particularly quenching raw spirits
teaching unabashed vanity

While Xylophones yammer zanily.

Embarrassing Moment

Nothing was more embarrassing,
than when I got caught jamming my air guitar maniacally dancing,
to the melodic orchestrations of ABBA singing.

Yeah, I like ABBA, no doubt about it.
You got a problem with that? Wanna step outside and do something about it?

Ballad for the Wacky Waving Inflatable Tube-Man

air rockets skyward
uppercutting inside
plastic neon flesh
contorting at inhuman angles
what does my body language spell?

ankles anchored into the Earth
to stay grounded as the wave
of time and space crashes
a flood of stagnant flux

there is a symphony of bones
snapping and cracking
in twisted orchestrations
the act of existing for me
is a resilient demonstration

Vixen of the Mist

Wind-driven, deceptive, mysterious, cries vixen's pulsating, debauchery with haunting arias, mesmerizing! The lighthouse, fearlessly, captivated, by siren's symphonic orchestrations shines brighter, exclaiming calamity! She cautions vigilant navigators... fog's mirage masquerades mortality!..

The Music Man

He has a musical instrument
it plays in his head.

Oft it quack's like an oboe,
oft it moo's like a bassoon;
it's also a violin
dipped into darkness.

When he writes, infant angels
wail, demons bleat like lost lambs.
Orchestrations and variation
upon a common theme reiterate
and reply.
Each instrument
a different note on his piano.

Yes, he has a piano
it thumps, it drums,
sometimes it mews
like a gull riding a storm.

This Thunderstorm Said Notice Me

This Thunderstorm Said, Notice Me! 6-20-2007 By Tom Wright Lightning scurries across God’s sky, by choice It illuminates the heavens and strikes a tree. Thunder bellows with an intimidating voice Orchestrations from God, as if to say, notice me. But as first light approaches Is heard a calming, distant rumbling sound, And the lingering Heavens Honey pelting the roof, And a previously rain drenched ground;
