With the final result being to evoke

        On occasion there came

Poet Writing Poetry

At the edge of life
in the center of the paper I write,
poetry on occasion drifts from the world
on occasions the center of attention...
It depends on the landscape, or the scene... !
Nota always que Live it, mostly we only
describe things with abstract eyes.....!

Premium Member The Hunter and His Prey

I don't know that a poet
has life outside his poetry –
Oh!--on occasion
he may run with an exterior
pack...but bones of their kills
soon draw him back; not a
soul to be found, once all meat
stripped away – little real
difference between hunters
and their prey –

Premium Member The Ticklish Dragon

Once upon a time there was
a ticklish dragon

The knights would tickle his belly
And he would roll around in laughter

He would giggle and hoot
And on occasion perform an embarrassing toot

He was such a well loved dragon
and there will never be another like him

Forget To Indent

Forget To Indent

Many poems wrote and may have meant
Along with email messages I have sent
And on occasion a few letters wrote
Around my computer sometimes tote
But as usual did forget to indent.

Do they still do indentation
Without a further explanation.

Speakers and writers on joy or great sorrow,

They offer an easing from etchings of tears,

and help on occasion to alleviate fears.

Their hand or a hug, love’s presence surround,

Premium Member A Cat Pursuing Mice

A cat pursuing mice
seems never
to think twice;
an owl swooping on prey
shows no thought
of delay--

Then enters man--
expressing volition,
a higher moral ground
of conscious
contrition--
yet kills for sport
as well as nutrition…

Oh! on occasion
for God
and country….

Premium Member Space Between Stars

wonder on occasion if they speak
Soft words whispered into soundless space
For if they do
I hear them, softly
In the sounds of moonlight
Unseen ripples kissing a shore
The applause of lightly clapping leaves
Flower petals giggling of a summer’s eve
The purr of distant need

Scars of Deceit

Reader, be warned by deep scars - deceit.
If you must fight to have your own way,
pause on occasion to consider,
what do I want to know?

Love

Love, is a journey,
A well, travelled road,
It can be, light as air,
On occasion, a heavy load.
Love, can't be touched,
However, it can be felt,
It can be an easy game,
With the hand that's dealt.
Love, can hurt sometimes,
It can ease away the pain,
Turning the world upside down,
Time and time again.

On Occasion

A beautiful time, the slightest breeze
We yearn to be more than lost
Your charm so delightful, alluring
Warm to my every thought
The beauty of life's song
Sings so sweet in our minds
On occasion our souls will play
Among the ruins within our hearts
Delighted in everyday life
Intimately peaceful with every breath

The Total Bliss of Emptiness

Those nagging feelings of despair
Are running rampant threw the air
There is no stopping this despair
For it is raging everywhere
Then as fast as it was here
It left again though it is near
But then again on occasion
There's extreme exhilaration
And when there's flat out emptiness
There's times when that is total bliss

Poet Writing On White Sheet

On the white sheet,
        I love writing...
        On occasion I'm rude
        when I hit her with
        atrocities...
        simply i'm crazy
        cursing nonsense...
        But in general I'm loving
        when I draw tenderness,
        I am playful, doodling it,
        touching her with bulk
        horny and sweetness... !
