Premium Member Swirls
Blueberry vanilla swirls,
slow-changing in the transient breeze
and tidal flow and ofttimes
capricious light. A citrus topping
sparkles after rain, with
jujubes of humanity clinging to their place
within a mesmerising kaleidoscope
of sumptuous sweetest fantasy....

On These Wings
Sheeted winds of hushed desire
Dragged behind these wings of fire.
Momentous doom plans melt below
The ofttimes weary hands now show.
This room all splashed in ink's delight
Grows faded now in rhymes' hindsight.
One drip of passed time's waning urge
Now calls for floating hope; Submerge....

And Soon the Sunlight
Soon the sunlight
Turns its shine to the dark side;
Only when the thick clouds
start to disappear and hide.

Rough sea seems to occur ofttimes,
Overflowing river due to vile clime;
Storm sinks my hopes and dreams,
As I gather my shattered senses on time.

Red or crimson future though
Is beginning to clear my sight;
One day it's a beautiful view,
and soon the sunlight....

Premium Member Missing the Mark Why We Kill
re-post inspired by Debbie's contest

We like sheep have gone astray,
if He marked our transgressions
who would stand.

Tempted,ofttimes
tormented,self-conscious,self-
seeking missing the mark;stepping
over the line,impulsive,doing what
we do want to do.

Encouraged into
doubt,we deceive ourselves,listening
to the father of lies,’Til the Holy Spirit
convict us of this sin....

Alone Im Lonely
I’m sitting alone,
As I do...
I’m chilling in my zone,
Feeling too often blue.

Always stuck in my head,
In an emotional stew.
It’s like a loose thread,
Being pulled through...

Through drowning my sorrows,
With whatever brew.
Wondering about possible tomorrows...
Questioning my moral views.

I am ofttimes prone,
To this overthinking loneliness.
But still sitting alone,
In all my lowliness...

Testimonial
Childly
Nature
Usually lost
Lavishly
Into her daydreams
Occupied by extreme unfledged guesses
That turns out with no results, she exclaims…
She is alike the princesses nascence from the garden of eden
Beautiful she is, felo-de-se her appeal – selfsame garrulous, bewrayed ofttimes by her
most heartfelts.
Yet she dances all through the way – lives with eternal sentiments that she copes with her
tears all alone and alone....

Ofttimes I voyage to celestial realm My mind takes flight when I reflect Outstanding beauty will overwhelm Planetary mystery has that effect. Enchanting rings of Saturn Superstar of our solar system I think of a cosmic magic lantern Imbued with ancient erudition. Wonderful to voyage in deepest space My mind is free to speculate What unknown knowledge will I face My mind takes flight will meet my fate.

Premium Member Child of the Fog
The fog of San Francisco is like a child you hold dear.
It brought you many smiles and ofttimes a lonely tear.
When you don't see it anymore, comlete sunlight you abhor.
Fog is so much like your warm lover's sweetest kiss.
And when gone, oh, how my, how sorely it is missed.
Once baptized by the fog, you belong to it forever.
Nothing can replace it~ no, not now, not ever!

Shadow of the Hummingbird
As I sit, staring at the Hotel wall
the shadow of a bird, floating, flying
'gainst the shadow of a Honeysuckle Bush
furiously flapping, shadow Wings
feasting 'pon life's blood - nectar
shadow World in which we dwell
Reflection or reality
Ofttimes I wish mere reflection it were
for then life would matter little
troubles - a mere shadow would then become
Shadow of delightful Hummingbird
'gainst shadow of Hotel wall
and Honeysuckle Bush
Illusion...
