Even Zeus, the god of the gods was terrified of her power.
She brought out the bats, the raccoons and hoot owls
Her worshippers including the wolves with the howls
Nyx loved the way the forest hid from her second sight
She marched through the atmosphere, as was her right....

Dripping from your bed
Chaotic voices
And Satanic noises

Break the glass
And be ready to fall fast
Opening the gate
You must accept your fate

Drift in the river flow
Your destination only Nyx may know
It's natural to feel remorse
But there's no reverse to your course

For whom the bell must toll
Open your eyes and see your Hell
Personalized just for you
Whose crimes we all knew

Can’t sleep again for some reason
perhaps I’m drinking too much tea.
Well, whatever the cause, it’s done.
I’ll try again later…maybe!
Meantime, I’ll work on this poem-
A way to pass the time away
until black-robed Nyx finds me home
And cast her spell without delay.
My mind grows weary, she has come
Whose dark light falls from nighttime stars
And Man and gods all must succumb.
Her sightless eyes in one dark sweep
induces half the world to sleep....

You were a siren, who took their last breath
You were the greatest creature of Nyx

People compared your body to the art
They tagged along without a word
They called you Seducer, Sweetheart, the God 
But no one could  see your wrenched wings...
