         Solace:
The ( waking ) hours
Seem
        NO
Better.
Roll over and press then
Panic Switch
(In your
         too
            loose
                  pants and
Flyaway bangs
And nosebleeds)
      Wishing
A  death

was an accomplishment.
When falling down wasn't a blessure,
but a scrap
- a prize worthy of adhesive

Swollen eyes
Smeared blood on my chin
Iron taste in my throat
Stinging nose
Cheeks like a fire truck
Eyes like leaky vases
Drip drip drip
Blood everywhere
Blood not stopping
Blood still falling out
Clots of it in my sink
Lots of it on my cheek
