So puffed up with air

Rope Is a Loose Noose

The noose is loose
by our choice we choose
consequence suffocating
failure of our inner relating

We hang in the balance of our own rope.......

Premium Member Is It Knot a Noose

Why call it tying the knot
Out of a knot some husbands have got

Smart wives call it preparing the noose
so that it never comes loose

To advertise honey suckle?

So no pronouns shed
Though it does make some folks chuckle!

Let Slip the Noose

all Day's beauty resides
within the guise of pale & troubled eyes
how quietly she hides
& faces Night with glimmering hope
to seek new heights
& break the scope
of chaos' dangling rope

The Tightening Noose

Parents,
  hover over their children

Adults,
  smothering their young

Choices curtailed,
  freedom spoon fed

Gallows
  —for youth to be hung

Noose

Crushes of old
Hop into my
Libido as if it were
Yesterday.

Digression is
Emersion into
Nostalgic consequence.

Ladled with
Subtleties preparing
For a lynching.

The Noose

My lover could have died that night
The noose so tight his neck bled too
So shocked my brain went into flight
My lover could have died that night
It was to be a sorry sight
A story to be told to you
My Lover could have died that night
The noose so tight his neck bled too

pendulum at best because to swing

 is
not at all a curse from birth but rath-
rather what the hanged man calls

 for
once he sees from upside down the exit
door that traps death in with us

A Loose Noose- Octodil

In my head will
In my heart fire
My silence is my strength
I will take this and go
You've taken this vessel strangers
My spirit will live on in you
 fire will ignite silence
My voice will dry all tears

Form: Verse

Ninny Nonny Noose

ninny nonny noose
     with a neck inside

stretchy stretchy stretch
     and the witch she died

golly, gallows in a gully
hanging hung in such a hurry

spell a spell a spell did she
with a bucket boiling full of tea

with which the witch survived
     never never died

ninny nonny noose
     no neck inside!

Premium Member A Noose Please

a noose please said the persnickety goose.
hop owner queried “a hanging dog noose?”
I will be hanging a hog, but please yes.
was this a murder? Did the goose just confess?

shop owner was a butt-insky from way back.
dialed 911..........they did not have a heart attack.
“People kill hogs all the time, sell goose the noose.”
By then goose had escaped the cage and was running loose.

Distorted Noose

i never needed anyone
so i don't care if i'm much fun.
i don't need you, baby doll,
and you won't ever see me fall.
always under your attack,
i don't care if you ever come back.
isn't it sad? i'm the best you've had
and i'm done making up for all that you lack.
i didn't want a drop of love,
only wanted to be put above.
now you've gone and shown your truth
hanging from a distorted noose.

The end of my rope

You tied the noose that I hang from
I stare at the writing on the wall
I feel like all the words are written wrong
My feet can’t find the stall
I wish my thoughts would just be gone

I am the rope in which they tie
I can’t seem to shape the future of my life
Got me thinking am I the one who’s ready to die
I decided to roll the dice
Sick of living a lie
Why did I think twice
Now I’m begging for a reason why

How To Hang a Man

When loose is a noose,
There won't be hanging:
To hang one must choose
Noose of chain clanging
Or rope doubly tight,
Not making plans light.

Business seem a game
Wasting hands prove tame,
Then, death starts singing
And danger ringing:
Some arms just swinging,
To nothing clinging...

Hangmen, a lot booze
For mum's heart they bruise:
The necks forget "whose?"
As it's of no use...

A dirty subject!
What all ears reject...

Then, what's my object?

Knots

I could feel them tight knots in my stomach.
They were there, I had no choice.
Then in crept through,
That manipulative voice.

At 14 I felt far from loose,
Already practicing how to make a noose.

Using it or not, is a different book.
So I did some research and had a look.

I had to make sure everything was right-
Not just the materials or the height.
To do this correctly I must be fairly light.

Making myself sick was my plan,
Before the final game of hangman.

The Noose

If you knew that the only thing
giving me purpose is my poetry
The only thing keeping me going
Is writing about you consistently...
You'd probably laugh because
you were more than happy
and more than justified
to leave me behind
You simply did
what you had to do
You followed your truth
You washed away the glue
that stuck me to you...
While I'm still hoping I stay stuck
Because one part of me
believes I deserve it and
the other part is just too
stubborn to untie the noose
