Rain clouds and gray skies
Sombers the bright rays of dawn
The sun's glory dimmed

A black cloud discriminates effortlessly,
forms gauche haunting images
justifying Kraken legend.
Malevolent nimbostratus
orchestrate prejudice quotable rain squalls,
travelling unbiased verifying
what xtremes yonder zoom.

The sky offered no sign of rain
No pitter patter songs were heard
It seemed flowers would wait in vain
The sky offered no sign of rain
There was just a dusty refrain
No nimbostratus were stirred
The sky offered no sign of rain
No pitter patter songs were heard

Triolet
Bearing the weight of signs and kindly murk,
no frock on hands, I glory in my work.
O joy of first snow - I beam in the cold,
starved for the feast of December Eve gold.
Of dark dreary nights, balm to dwell inside.
Not so, when the sky unveils a white bride.
Twirling, grinning like a little girl, smiles
fall from nimbostratus clouds a short while.
Simplicity, from God’s trust, delivers,
bright cheeriness and heavenly shivers.

Euphoria exploiting like sunshine
A rainbow starts to occur
Colors happily emerging
Mist soon to expose thyself from a fierce-looking nimbostratus
Welted roses wait patiently for more than a drink and a chance at life
Intoxicating smell of rain arrives
Birds chirping change notes calmly
Mountain peak tops covered in fog
Refreshing aura idles territories
Finally, rain comes one by two
The soil of the earth once again hydrates as the rainbow lingers on to the next euphoria
