Grab that flat screen
It's what I really need!
I saw it in an ad
On a newsreel feed.

Black Friday is upon us
Forgot yesterday's meal
The day they call "Thanksgiving"
Was thrown out on it's heel.

I want, I want, I need
It's like an endless well
Insatiable desires
Are sending me to hell.

Does this stuff really satisfy
Or leave me in the mire?
Greed and numbing apathy
Caring not, my soul expires.
