Don'T Care

Grab that flat screen It's what I really need! I saw it in an ad On a newsreel feed. Black Friday is upon us Forgot yesterday's meal The day they call "Thanksgiving" Was thrown out on it's heel. I want, I want, I need It's like an endless well Insatiable desires Are sending me to hell. Does this stuff really satisfy Or leave me in the mire? Greed and numbing apathy Caring not, my soul expires. 2014

I do hate the greed surrounding this time of year. Wish people could focus on the real meaning of the season. Thanks for your response!

Thanks Faye. I know, it's sad that Thanksgiving literally gets "gobbled up" by consumerism.
