Simple, simple, why make life so hard.
We travel a road looking for something.
Keep dealing and dealing for that card.
Gesturing complaints putting up a guard,
Misguiding a life, while living a lie,

I live a simple life within my mind.
My heart is full, emotions rolled inside.
I have no desire for riches that bind.
Just give the needs, allow desires I find.
Then life is complete, until I die....

To write an intellectual rhyme
Some with complicated words
Most of which I've never heard
Words that cudgel my brain
So I can deliberate and strain
My antediluvian brain
To think from a new perspective
Endeavour to be more selective
Perhaps I should keep improvising
These sesquipedalian words are so misguiding
It would save much more time
To stick (or adhere) to my simple rhyme...

A nation divided just is not couth,
Unfortunately, reason is wizen
Frivolous theories accepted as truth,
Intentionally misguiding our youth
Disgraceful political grandstanding,
Foundation institutions crash-landing
News media is shaping opinions,
Honestly, journalism notwithstanding
Common folks now political minions.
