hungry, wanton face,

a ruined home still has its stones.

A mirthless Queen still has her throne,
a sleeping bloom will one day grow.

A fallen star still keeps all hopes,
a frozen stream on spring will flow.

A tired wolf soon more will howl,
a onetime champ will be aye known....

Leafless trees
branches entwined
clutching at the wind.

Lifeless eyes
a hallow embrace
clutching at my heart.

Mirthless tears
pouring down salt
into my wounded soul.

Listless eyes
turned quickly away
by my haunted essence.

the trees
seem to mourn
the passage of a season,
while I
Morn the passing
of a gentle man of reason

	And voice eternally locked
	Shine still will the immortal sun
	Birds at my wake keep sing on to life as incense burn
When I die;
	In neat dis-order, ants will march
	And buzzing silently the bees shall lament
	While I shall lie still,
	All gone stealth and stilt.
	Finally dead from undying death  
	With sightless eyes and mirthless mirth, my bane.

A Wobbegong dumbed down in dumps
Forlorn in doldrums deep and glum
For the taste of glum is dour and sour 
Mirthless and mournful, cheerless and doleful
Apparel crestfallen, disheveled, long-face, appalled
Butt out, begone, woebegone Wobbegong, long in tooth
Trim your beard, its shaggy and scummy, and glumly 
See more sea, and be seen in scene on screen....

anesthetic figures state their somber positions
the commodities of their mirthless smiles reast unconfined
i'm writhing from their false amorous animations

i romance with death dancing in the winter lights 
in malevolence i sing my sorrow.  prying it will end
trying not to impede the unhappy yet happy ones rights
i freeze a smile upon my face to be with the fashioned wind...

my hopeless heart is lightened
gone the gloomy gale.

When sweet child is playing
and laughs full loud with glee
my mirthless mind is gladdened
gone the sorrowed sea.

When mauve moon is rising
and stars shine through the night
my shadowed soul is brightened
gone the bleary blight.

I had a dream
A horrific one, I deem 
I saw a shadow 
One of a man taller by ten, he seem
He had two pointed edges at his head
His body seemed to disapparate like heating lead
His legs never moved
But he was chasing me
desperately,
Through this alien light
Behind me
He was snarling, trying to grasp me, blight
I looked back from the gate
And I saw
A corrupted version 
Of me
And he 
was chained back into the.
Dark,
Lightless,
Mirthless,
Void....

"Move!" sounds command.
I stir, arise, lift a laggard hand.
Can movement mark with magic
All latent space?
Shall thoughtless motion,
Mere mindless flurry,
Confer importance
On the empty hour?
"Speak!" rings out.
Sing I, then, quavery syllables
Against the quiet as though
Sound could skirt the still
Or melody make right
The evils of the night.
Think: none judge me harshly
Save sour I, my mirthless self.
Song stops. So solitude
Into stony silence slips....
