Tonight I Pray

Above grey skies and a mirthless moon

clouded by starlight in a world unknown

within my thoughts

of then and now

of pleasure and pain

longing to feel free

and whole again 

In darkness and silence 

my pensive thoughts stray

Hoping and praying

you'll be okay

In the back on my mind

and deep in my soul

you'll be with me forever

in a heart that you stole

Praying for that certain someone, that they are ok, feeling their absence, yet still wanting to know that all is well with them. Beautiful yet also somehow sad thoughts in your pen. Thank you so much for passing by my post, for saying what you said. Yes, the weight of silence sometimes, could mean so much.
