You say I make the reader think
others say I make the reader drink
in a sense, all poems should be
a finger intoxicating, if to have
a minimum jigger of literary worth.

Premium Member Absolute Minimum

Absolute Minimum

f has an absolute minimum
at x=a if f(a) < f(x)
for all x in the domain of f
the y value f(a) is the
absolute value of f

I have absolutely no clue
what all this means
because math is not in my genes

Premium Member Finished Almost No Have Tos Today

So many have to’s.
I have done the minimum.
Preferring my day.
To keep as my own.
Holding on to integrity.
Tomorrow may be my last.
I might not even last the night.
I congratulate myself
Wasting no time
On things I despise.

Sunday Afternoon

POEM

for public domain

Sunday Afternoon

Reprieve from the weather.

Brutal days
And nights

Five hours minimum daily requirement
Chasing mitts

Ski masks
Snow pants
Suspenders and shawls
Thick socks
Fur

Three kinds of boots
Headphones

Still I fly away

Thorn

There was an old driver called Thorn,
Who said, 'I’m the best ever born,'
As he spoke of himself,
And his talents and wealth,
Despite all the faces forlorn,
He kept right on tooting his horn.
