Simply Poetry

Whether it's acrostic, limerick, ballad, ballade, or autobiographical,
Keats, Byron, Blake, or Heaney,
that is just a tiny,
part of the magical, mistical, phenomenal world of poetry and prose,
you won't be able to get your nose,
out of our great poets poetry or prose,
join our magical world of the great unknown.

I Wish On a Snowflake

I wish on a snowflake
the first one that I see
Dream of my life
  and all it can be

As it drifts to the ground
  take a good look around
This magical world is for me

If snowflakes were wishes
  that all could come true
I'd scoop them all up
  and share them with you
We could make snowballs
  after the snow falls
This magical world for me and you

Daytona Vibes

Parallel to the sky
‘Neath the flocks
That dance by
Sprawling and crawling
My sweet lullaby

An ombré appeal
With hues, quite unreal
I own it, this moment
I feel something real

The stretch of the waves
Seems to go on for days
So much beach, within reach
Lightly kissed by the rays

Sand ripples and swirls
Once again, a young girl
Inspired, not tired
What a magical world

Beauty Of A Hidden World

You can row for many miles
Hopefully, live many years
Surely you will miss the secrets
The gods were always tricky and cruel
Hiding special things just out of reach
Or maybe even out of sight
But, if you take your time living
Looking around where you would never look
Seeing the magical world hidden from you
It is truly more beautiful than you could ever imagine

Aroma of lilacs wafted to me as I peered in
Feeling the mysticism of magic, sensing hidden faeries
A gentle breeze coaxed me to come a bit closer
Intimidated by the reverence I felt, I held back.

A monarch swished past me, on her way
I heard the trill of a joyful robin and her young ones
Ancestral voices welcomed me, persuaded me to take a step
Inside the magical world of elves, gnomes, faeries, and flowers

Premium Member Drummers Lament

You hypnotised
my drums
as they beat
a rhythm
from deep
within my soul
in the spirit
of love

Watch me
exploding outside
as the temperature rises
each beat
getting stronger
putting me in
this magical world

As my drum beats echo
how I feel inside
I bathe
within it's beauty

As I beat harder
on the walls
of my heart
I want the world
to hear
you and me

Together
till
the end
of time

Wild and Free

Wild and free, oh how I’d love to be
Away from this life that’s boring me
Day after day no end in sight
How I envy the birds in their beautiful flight
Gracefully they glide swoop and soar
Among the clouds twixt shore to shore
Free to fly free to sing
And the glorious dawn their chorus brings
When beams of light cause shadows fade
And sparkling dew in Fairy glades
A magical world now lost to dreams
Replaced by life’s unbending themes

Color In the Music

At last she finally has the violin,
that will color her world with music! Her magical world lost touch with the
beauty of music, becoming black and white. The tunes flowing
from the brown violin's strings will spread like perfume, and treat every black and
white with color. To complete her colorful mission, she she needs a brown fiddle, which
is currently owned by a boy. It is only by finding the boy, that the violin's
magic can work.....

A Place Called the Bubble Gum Tree

have you been to the bubble gum tree<
a place thats full of mystery,
a place that you can let your thaughts go,
a place where u can go with the flow.

i went to christmas at the bubble gum tree,
a place where you, first met me,
hiding behind the sofa to see
if you would make me a cup of tea.

a magical place where anything goes,
youd be out of place if you had 17 toes,
but only certain people knows,
the magical world of the bubble gum tree

The Magical World of Snow

A day so full of heavy clouds,
Hanging over Earth with a chill.
Grey, in the early morning dawn
As the sun hides over yon hill.

Slowly, stealthily, one at a time
Gentle flakes float down from the skies.
Snow, beautiful, white, glistening snow
Piling flake upon flake before my eyes.

One layer, two layers, three, then four
Cover Earth with a shining white coat.
Soon a magically changed world appears-
White upon white snowflakes, silently they float.

Healing In Motion

Open minded progress determines the path.
Unlike years of mental numbness quieting the laugh.
A breath of fresh air as it cleanses the soul
Erases the emptiness obstructing the goal
A magical world for me to explore
No ties that bind restricting thoughts like before
Brightness invades all the moods once left dark
Putting an end to the misery so the healing can start
No more will I anchor my mind in the sorrow
Choices I make today paves the path to tomorrow

A Box

I keep a magical box
It’s safely tucked away

In this little magical box
we’ve got it all

The moon and the sun that can dance
Leopards and dogs ,ducks and birds that can talk

In this little magical world

A bear here, a horse there
and cats elsewhere
Magical oranges and chubby rabbits
Dancing underneath the stars
Laughing till the sun rises

oooh, my secret box world
nothing around here is quiet

who will descover it
who will unlock my imaginations

On the Cross

reinfatuating of sordid memories
we lay there back to back
away from the realities
like penguins on ice

city is a flame
dancing like
a butterfly

we are all strangers here
we could be feathers
floating on thin
air
on the magical world
of love
do we really care
torn between
science and art
i am on the
cross
twisting rocketing spinning
like a reckless
top
euthanesia
i am tired
food is delicious
