The Magical World of Snow

A day so full of heavy clouds, Hanging over Earth with a chill. Grey, in the early morning dawn As the sun hides over yon hill. Slowly, stealthily, one at a time Gentle flakes float down from the skies. Snow, beautiful, white, glistening snow Piling flake upon flake before my eyes. One layer, two layers, three, then four Cover Earth with a shining white coat. Soon a magically changed world appears- White upon white snowflakes, silently they float.
