Drummers Lament
You hypnotised
my drums
as they beat
a rhythm
from deep
within my soul
in the spirit
of love
Watch me
exploding outside
as the temperature rises
each beat
getting stronger
putting me in
this magical world
As my drum beats echo
how I feel inside
I bathe
within it's beauty
As I beat harder
on the walls
of my heart
I want the world
to hear
you and me
Together
till
the end
of time
