Burg of Hue and Cry
Makati, Philippines

Burg of hue and cry, lustily hairy gridlock of stiff mortals.

The Sick
Now, gone
The yellow sunlight
of this morning
Packs of food on the table
Nights
That come slowly as plot
When I know about death
I want to laugh lustily.

Creamy
Deliciously decadent with cream it surrenders
Surprisingly light and airy it endeavours
Lustily I fill my mouth with its sweet favours
Smoothly if envelops my oesophagus
Quietly it enters my reaches so warmly...

Zenith
Lustily craving to reach the top of the tower,
salivating to grab a country's political power,
to hell with lack of experience or substance,
his empty rhetoric putting people in a trance;
Alleluia! a new messiah has arrived to lead,
almost at the zenith to mess up your head!...

Weed Garden
WEED GARDEN

A swell of marigolds lustily pushing aside the earth
New baby oak trees shooting up from their acorns
Tall crowd of Jerusalem artichokes waving wildly behind the gate
Rose bay willow herb sweeping pink and blue banners to heaven
Lush and uncontrolled.
These are happy weeds....

Premium Member He's Baack
On the heels of
last week’s snow storm,
Red Winged Blackbirds
have returned.
Resplendent males
red epaulets flared
against sleek black feathers
against cold white snow.
Staking their
patch of cattails,
each holding forth
Lord of his territory
each lustily calling
 "Okalee"
till his Lady arrives
fashionably late
with warmer weather....

Drunken Butterfly
Would they have burned me as a witch
if I told you carelessly
moments before draining the wine glass
body screaming at highest pitch,

"Come, be my fairy-queen's obedient ass
donkeying away mercilessly
my every wish-abiding thought,
bonding, despite our different class"?

Indulge me, in your web I'm caught,
flying about you lustily,
I know I'll die in your embrace
moments before they cast my lot....

In Wine
In wine there is truth
In truth revelation
And in revelation
A glimpse of future
Delighted in the taste
Of future on your lips
Savored with each
Slow careful kiss
Toasting breakable glasses
Full of red revelation
Swirling with an eager scent
Causing inhibitions to
Scurry into the corners
Laughing at tipsy truths
Drinking lustily every thought
And closing the bottle
To share a sacred sleep...

Metallica Tribute
Muses conceived and baptized by fire
Ethereal melodies wedded to serrated strings
Tormenting the ears of the faint at heart
A revolution of metal was born
Looking defeat and death in the eye they forge boldly on
Lustily toting a guitar case of sins
Inebriated veins pulse to the beat of Hell’s drums
Candid they exposed their darkened souls to the world
And revealed there a beauty both metallic; and pure...

Devilish Angel
her face bears an angelic look
it is her smile
that slightly impious smile
which gives her a devilish bearing
that smile, that beguiling smile
warm and altogether pixyish
still, it
whispers of midnight fantasies
and daylight delights
oh yes, it is the mouth, the smile
giving the impression
of dark, sensuous pleasures
and fleshly longings
as the halo hoverin' o'er her head
she looks down lustily and slightly tilts it
even angels can be enticed...

Premium Member Sing For Me
Sing me here an old-timey hymn Like “Amazing Grace” or “Jesus Saves,” Sing it lustily before my bier, Nothing overly sad, morose, or grim My funereal may elicit some raves But I prefer that to the maudlin tear; Please remember, I shall be watching. Not appreciating unnecessary waves, I shall be very happy that I am here In Paradise, no more frivolous botching, Sing me here!

Poem
Once, I was a poem---
A memory of a rose, ever-watchful
Of the orb, whilst angel’s trumpet fills the air.

Oh, sometimes then, I was a sweet poem---
The art of your heart;
‘Twas pure and simple, ‘cause that’s what I am.

The poem and I---fourteen lines
Of uncluttered life, warming the coldness of nights;
Relentlessly, rhyming to the sound of your breath.

A sonnet of love, you proudly wrote
Of me, but that was before…
You lustily engaged yourself, with a free-verse....
