So Many Storms

So Many Storms

So many storms may be found within;
Wonder where they will end and begin;
Am now searching,
For places lurching;
Some still exist and forever have been.

Premium Member Sardine

There once was a sleek silvery sardine
Who dreamed of marrying a svelte eel queen
With his heart ever lurching,
Swimming through seaweed searching
In an olive oiled tin, he was last seen.

Premium Member My Sweet Garden

It’s my sport walking through aisles of plants
Snow bathed grass blades tickle my feet
The lurching tops greet with smiles
Counting the infant buds
gives me cosmic bliss

Blown Away

a Mystic candle
enamouring Fire
             is so light --

shimmering tenuously
lurching shadows
            and listening

intensely disinterested
neither attracted
             nor compelled --

only
waiting
with storms all around

Unhindered

bare foot in shoebox scraping thin dust of wood floors
limping and lurching crooked elbows under flat sheet
contorted countenance wailing through jagged eye-hole
the ghost of One-Legged Willy has returned
but six eyes fix on morning cartoons, unhindered

Salt in the wound

An open wound
Fingers digging into the sides of my seat
Stomach lurching forward
Poked and prodded, how did you become such a miserable thing so young?
There's a price that must be paid.
Cover my eyes.
Reach deep into my frame.
Tell me when it’s over.

Watch Her Break

Scrambled legs
Tingling fingers
Grayscale of concrete.

Dancing air
No energy to deplete.
Rasping breaths
Stomach twisted
Into a crumpled bow.
Quietly shrinking

Shriveled lips of snow.
Lurching throat
Dried up tongue
But nothing will come up,
Scarecrow arms
And glass-shard legs
Are never thin enough.

Premium Member Merry Go Round Is My Favorite

Many carnival rides take my breath away
Shake my brains, and cause a lightning rod of fear
Some make my lunch come up, lurching and screaming.
But the Merry-Go-Round is my favorite.
For this is where I remember waving to my grandparents.
And my aunts and uncles, maybe mom and dad were there too.
I do not remember that part, as they were always around.
