Salt in the wound
An open wound
Fingers digging into the sides of my seat
Stomach lurching forward
Poked and prodded, how did you become such a miserable thing so young?
There's a price that must be paid.
Cover my eyes.
Reach deep into my frame.
Tell me when it’s over.
