Looking Back

High and lucidly etched, a raptor,
feathers flickering in sunlight,
a thing carved,
branded in a window of space,
an osprey.

It plunges, strikes with clutching talons.
There on the face of the water
it seems to cleave
its own swooping shadow.

Then up it mounts the sky once more;
a shimmering fish
looks back at its last swim.

DREAM

LIVING LIFE LOOSELY, I CHOOSE TO DREAM MY DREAMS LUCIDLY
LIVING LIFE LIKE ME IS DREARY WOE IS ME.

LIVING LIFE IN A DREAM, I'VE NEVER FELT SO FREE .
LIVING LIFE IN REALITY, SLEEPING SOLACES ME.

LIVING LIFE IN A DREAM TRANSLUCENT, HAPPY, AND GLITTERY.
NOW I SLEEP PEACEFULLY BECAUSE I'LL STAY FOR ETERNITY. - Maleeeon

Premium Member Moon Whispers

The moon whispers upon its crest
the night is somber and finally rest
I watch the stars speckle the sky
and count them till my eyes are dry.
The wind calms the creature's sleep
 cool, wild, and endlessly deep
Could a night like this exist
without the moon's glow and kiss.
Awed in silence, here I am
 lucidly dreaming in R.E.M

Insular...

Solid in star-burst
and harbored connection
to mind and to matter
and all things alight

Glass idea shattered
in wrought conversation
impending on tips
of the top of the night

Platinum moon shine
and sing along star songs
to whisk me in circles
'till lucidly spun

Blowing the evening
in wrought conversation
alone in the world
unmistakably one.

In My Blood Synesthesia

Our synaesthesia is for free,
Music is the muse for me,
It's in my blood, you see,
Images imaginary,
Elvira Madigan wakes to see,
Mozart play Mozart lucidly.
Swooner songs sound so silly,
Old rockers croon so vividly,
Funny lyrics in my brain,
Sounding a little deranged,
(It is hereditary
in my family)
Yes, Synaesthesia is for free,
Smurfette's songs, so silly.

Looking Back

A high silhouette, lucidly etched, a raptor, feathers flickering in sunlight, a thing carved and branded in a window of space, an osprey. It plunges, strikes the filmy dazzle a bristle of talons, and there on the face of the water it cleaves its own swooping shadow. Then it mounts the sky once more; a shimmering fish looks back at its last swim.

Gray naked trees, forest lawn cloaked in white
Wearing red, bearing arms, hiding motionless and pious
Appearing out of nowhere, an apparition so quiet
One shot rang out, then suddenly dead silence

Nearly half a century, has passed since that year
A revelation came to me, lucidly clear
So beautiful and graceful, yet to live in fear
A life resolving murder, of a helpless deer

Everyday Forecast

Broken buried bond
Regretful recurring rain
Pouring putridly passionless
Provocative priceless pain

Falling furiously fast
Ominous oath to obey
Torrential teary torment
Conventional course conveyed

Submersed soul stammering
Darkness deadening distantly
Drowning deep disarray
Methodically mocking me

Laughter lingers lucidly
Submerged suffering sight
Treading thoughts tenaciously
For a fruitless fearful fight

To Ye Bards of Past

Thanks bards fallen
For the inspiration given
For the eyes are now opened
For in lines on paper inked,
Lessons were learned,insight was earned.

Thanks bards fallen
For in lines down written
Truth was spoken
Dreams were born.

Thanks bards fallen
For the many hearts mused.
In your lines and rhymes,
Emotions and feelings lucidly expressed,
Vividly felt.

Many a bard
Fly sky high
For because you flew.
And gates to a world new,
You opened.

Soul Discovery

Out of all the amazing beings
In this infinite universe
My soul called out to yours
Ready to immerse

A strangely familiar feeling
That's something I'll have to get use to
A once in a lifetime love
My eternal déjà vu

I see visions of our destiny
In your jade green eyes
It lucidly paints our forever home
Surrounded by blue skies

This all could be said in fewer words
Or a simpler way to say
That your soul ignites a fire inside me
That only poetry can convey

The Most Bitter Storm

Everything I've lost shows up in my dreams
Like some sort of resurrection
Lingering, hanging over me

Or it ever exist at all?
Did you exist at all.

I try to wash your blood from my hands,
But somehow, still, I remain stained
I try to erase your tiny, broken body from my head
But you've etched yourself into my memory.

Lucidly, I pick at thoughts of who you.....
Could have been,
Or who you tried to be,
Human. A human being.
Dead and gone.....
         A secret it seems.
