me and my loyal friend
we're dreaming of beautiful exotic faraway lands
~ one day we'll sail away

I'm dedicated and I'm loyal.
I've always done my work with love.
I look back without regret.

gun is bright but blindly loyal
order it to bite enemy, it obeys
ask it to eat master, it acts
tell it to rest, it goes to bed
knowing duty always calls
Drooling so often, sometimes damp, forever devoted
Oldest soul in the family, loves unconditionally
Grateful for everything, has your back, crazily loyal
Don't look for face
Nor color of skin
But look for a heart
Which is loyal within
For face turns old
And skin may fade
But a loyal heart
Is forever gold
Our loyal companion chose us
about five years ago
There was no decision to get a cat,
he just kind of moved in
and we instantly fell in love
with his generous affections
A loyal collie on Chesapeake Bay
worked for his keep—if he wanted to stay
But when told: Hurry, you slob!
he laid down on the job
dreaming of running through meadows all day

God is the only witness
Who is so loyal to truths
He lives in our prayers
He lives in our hearts
And he lives in our difficulties
So almighty that
At any circumstances, anytime and anywhere
the look in your eyes as you walk toward me
the way you quicken your pace as our eyes meet
it matters not
that I have forgotten the time
You forget I am late...

Loyal, Dearest
Friend, I have your back.
Standing strong preventing pain.
As always, I stay.
Firmly planted upon us.
Loyal to the promise made.

I have my wife,
who I love...
But i love women
in general, too...
What's wrong with that!?
Not all love is the same...
I love and am loyal...
For love, I double-cross no one...
Only those who don't love
are the ones who betray... !

When I find it hard to write
she comes here at dead of night;
to her whims I then give in
till she leaves at dawn’s first light.

Lovers love okay,
While I've got you here,
I can't love you enough,
Our souls collide,
Through the years,
No secret what love
Can do, hearts young,
But older now, time elapsed,
Write each page we
Can, enduring,
Soothingwith glow,
Lovers love today,
Ever loyal to you......
I can reconcile with those old goals.
But never with the people who lost patience.
Living in the desolation that I prosper in.
Never comfortable.
But at least I try to concede.
Even though there is no competition.
This is a disorder.
One that is loyal to me.
turkety, lurkety
Saul, king of Israel
green-eyed with envy shouts,
“I’ll cut your throat.”
groundless, irrational
obsessitivity.
David, the next king squeals,
“I cut your coat.”

By The Barrow In The Yard,
I Waited,
But You did Not Come.
There Were No Halls Or Music;
There Was No One.
No Moon Or Light
Throughout The Night
To Comfort Me.
Morning left
My Body Chilled
For All To See,
By The Barrow In The Yard.
Where I Waited,
But You Did Not Come.

My Friend
(Cinquan Poem)
My friend,
No need for masks,
Our laughter wears no face.
Between us stands no hunger,
Just
Truth shared
A close mouth catches no flies, but an open heart finds home.
A day before our getaway to Miami
We got out the blue suitcase
And as it sat in our bedroom
Getting ready for spring break
Our golden retriever
Ever vigilante
Would not leave its side
Day or night
To go outside eat or drink
No
He could not risk being left behind
Thought it was summer
Going to the lake.
Dogs
Are
One of
The most cute
And loyal pets that
Exist between the domestic
And tamed animals that you can find in your sweet home
Wagging the tail and barking to give a warm welcome when arriving from a work day

The best gift a dog can give
Has not received fair credit
Every good dog
Loves its pet people
Often selflessly
Year after year
A good dog bestows its
Loyalty upon
Those it loves
You see it in the eyes
Often the behavior
From one day to the next
A loyal dog
Does all that it can to
Offer all the gifts that
God allows it to give of itself.

Peaceful
More stresses and strains
Next day filled with Peace Talks
Calms down Mind and Heart
God's Loyal Love
Loyal to Trueness
Stickability does count
Tried but True always

Foresight is lemon meringue
Sour will become Sweet

Loyalty and honesty mean everything to me
It is not always easy to find
Yet I have found it here on Poetry Soup
With a poet so supportive and kind
He has my back completely
Supported me when l was openly wronged
Never to be coerced by empty poetic words
His sincerity and loyalty unwaveringly strong
I just wanted to say a huge Thankyou …..l appreciate you so much!
" My Darling, my princess, sweetheart,
I will never let you apart ".
'But I'm also expert to flirt ' -
I'll tell you never.
" You are the unique Moon to shine !
Dear Valentine ! Come close, be mine."-
' But in my sky, stars too glisten ' -
and yet here we are !
