My Loyal Muse

When I find it hard to write
she comes here at dead of night;
to her whims I then give in
till she leaves at dawn’s first light.

Never heard of a Jueju before ... but either way ... it's certainly a relatable poem to most of us here! Gone as quick as she arrived (scandalous ... LOL!).

My dear Paul, a muse can be such a capricious creature (at least mine is lol!) but the delicate beauty of your Jueju portrays your muse's angelic, loyal and prized essence brilliantly. Your golden pen flows with serenity in this piece, my wonderful friend. A lovely intimate gem. I hope all is well with you and yours. Stay safe and healthy. Warmest wishes and hugs always.. ~Susan

This is so clever Paul, your muse picks the right time in our 24 hour circle to visit you and then be gone. I know this will win! But then of course your muse is very proud to be connected to so awesome a poet and knows the visiting hours must be discreet! Warm regards and hugs, Jenny.

How wouldn't a muse be loyal to a great composer and arranger of words tone?! How wouldn't a muse succumb to insight and mastery of a great poet! So impressive and serene an image in so expressive words! You amaze with your artistry, Paul! And so much pleased to read so fine a poetry! My deepest regards and blessings.
