Premium Member Lion
Living in a pride he
 Lazes around while the
 Lionesses hunt for
 Large prey such as giraffes
Looks like their prey is down!
 Leo gets the most meat
 Loud is his mighty roar

 4/14/17...

Dusk In the Mara
Alas! 'Tis the lionesses out to hunt
And the Mara antelopes out of luck
That trouble your vision, me friend.
Come, let's quick to our tent,
Lest the crouching queen,
And the scheming king,
Find us in the wind
Curious friend
Of the Mara
Come
Oh...

The ‘lionesses’ lost to Spain Spain’s players are quaffing champagne I may be unkind But was the ref’s blind My reasoning may be insane I googled the Penso surname The origin could be from Spain Perhaps there’s some bias So Spaniard's could Gaius From watching finals I’ll abstain!

The Zoo
To the zoo, to the zoo
Lets go to the zoo
To see a mighty tiger
Or perhaps a liger
Or even a gnu
The parrots and the doves
Everyone loves
The lion king
In his ring
And lionesses in their caves
The mighty grizzly bear
In his lair
The monkey on the swing
Doing his thing
Showing off his flair
Oh yes let’s go to the zoo...

Lionesse
The seagull cries
pleading the right of birds
An Aladdin's
jibe to overcome plight
Rugged flights to fill your soul
The Madman's voice
and his lack of choice
drills the silence
His fingers stiff with sentences
hollow words I don't understand
The Winter chaff casts a slipping land
The Lantern on the hill anoints lionesses
Commuting to overcome the earth...

Premium Member 2023 Fifa Womens World Cup - Usa Vs Netherlands
United States had looked defeated after Netherlands' Jill Roord scored a goal in the 17th minute, the first time United States trailed in a World Cup game since the 2011 quarterfinals. In the second half Lindsey Horan became angry after a hard tackle by Netherlands’ van de Donk. Minutes later Lindsey scored the equalizer on a thunderous header.

USA humbled
Orange Lionesses’ Roord—
don’t make Lindsey mad...

Oh Foolish Man
Oh foolish man,
how dare you interpret your
Manly roar
To a lionesses protection
Oh, foolish man
If only you could see into a
 female's heart,
How fierce, how noble, how pure,
It's very being, vibrating with love
With hope, and sometimes, yes, with blindness,
Oh, how we suffer,
only to produce another, possible
foolish man into the world
oh, think twice,
Just another day in living
In your own fool's paradise...

Babies Who Still Beds Wet
Over little mothers fret:
Their babies who still beds wet;
Lionesses in A Net!
Its stoppage they’d celebrate:
High time their doctor they met
And out their frustrations let…

And Doc begins to Mum pet,
Drying tear-filled eyes long wet:
Some placebo drug would get
And Fine Solution is set!

“Babes shall pee; I did no bet:
Time frees them from The odd Net
Only trying to help eyes wet”

Doctors’ Credit Alert get:
They won’t reject them, I’d bet!...

Premium Member 2023 Fifa Womens World Cup - England Vs China
England’s coach, Sarina Wiegman’s decision to switch from their regular 4-2-3-1 formation to a 3-5-2 formation was a brilliant move that confused and frustrated China the entire match. With their 6 -1 victory, England remain at the top of Group D and move on to the knockout stages. This is the first time China have been eliminated from group stage during their eight Women's World Cup appearances.

Wiegman’s masterstroke
The Steel Roses bamboozled—
Lionesses roar...

The lion's thunderous roar breaks the dawn
As creatures begin to stir on the plains
To the water's edge they soon will be drawn

To quench their thirst, and their life to sustain
 Lionesses gather to ambush prey
In the tall grass, in silence they remain

 Suddenly the attack is underway
As frightened creatures scatter far and wide
An zebra's caught, the first meal of the day

Over these plains the king of beasts presides
And his mighty roar echoes through the pride...
