Happenings
Waiting for something to happen
Makes us sit and watch and wait
Getting less than what we want
Is not what we should take
We need to make better life choices
Nothing is ever ordained by fate...

Addicted
Afraid of letting go
Destruction I have caused
Damaging my body
Illegal behavior
Convincing myself it’s okay
Toxic life choices
Estranged I have become
Denying the truth

That I am Addicted....

Who Am I
Who Am I ?
By George W. Clever-----12 June 2020

Who am I? I’m just a nut.
Patch on my eye. Big ears to help me fly.
A Weird kid in school. So they all say.

Mother had me tested. Never received the results, I guess.
Life has been busy. A smorgasbord of interests.
How could I choose but one? So I filled my plate with all it could hold....

Premium Member Reflections
We have been bestowed with a mind to discern,
which implies we have some measure of free will,
so life choices we make, is the way we learn
but if heart lags behind, we suffer until
the lamp of love is lit in mind-body urn,
whence we may drink soma nectar to our fill.
We would do well to pause and ask who we are
since from path of truth, we have drifted afar....

Life Choices Miracle Man January 2024 All my life choices rest with me alone, and many, to God, won’t be delightful. So from life’s mistakes I must atone, for my perception of hell is frightful. The farther down life’s road I travel, days get tougher both night and day. But God won’t let my life unravel, If from HIS shadow I do not stray.

Premium Member He was a pleasure monger
He was a player, a rounder, a pleasure monger
Spent his life in zealous pursuit of pleasure
The dour-faced speaker looked disgusted by his life choices
My friend and I discussed him later, in awe of his journey
Debauchery to her made him a hero in our eyes
Can you imagine spending your life in pursuit of pleasure?
I think we should all do it, as long as we do not hurt others....

Life Choices Written: by Tom Wright. 7-20-2016 Tangible success or inner gratification, Were the choices in life that I once faced. My life could remain just an aberration, And the family name, become disgraced; Then I arrived at my road’s branching, Firmly entrenched, I faced a life choice. Trembling, I stood, with color blanching, Jesus had given me cause to now rejoice.

Curtains
Curtains fall

Amazing,

How people assume they can mold

Not a pot but your life

People believe they have opinions

A right to coerce the steps in your life choices

A truth told by someone else

Isn’t your truth

People only have ideas

You may pick up

No, right just their offers behind the curtains

It easy for them to mistaken

And it’s your right to undervalue their opinion

Not that it counts
