In the beginning
the world formless void and dark
Spirit of God moved
Created heaven and earth
Said Let there be light! - there was.
Dark matter is thought to be 85%
of the mass of our universe, which
leaves us with the remaining 15%.
All that’s left after s/he said
“Let there be light.”
God, in the time before time,
Jittery, alone and bored,
Made this poor world in the dark,
And with these four words infused it with life.
Written just for the Parise Pariku contest
Hearts writhing in pain and wounds that smell
Souls smoldering in agony and affliction’s hell
O savior! O Love! You are hard to seek in this age of apathy
Let there be light at the end of the tunnel
"Let there be light.".
He separated day from night
There is a limit to darkness
just as there is a limit to light
In the battles we fight
we discover these limits
We learn that God's wisdom is right
And mist Of darkness the dullness spikes
Emptiness blackened lifeless
Just a jit a dot a spot of Life ignites
The environment oh let there be light shine bright
the light

A blank canvas staring back at me
No feeling no love no world around it...
I take a brush and place it in the calming blue
There I create a beautiful sea
A sea for adventure
And an unknown world....
A world has been created
The moment you said "let there be light".
Form:
Let there be light when I return
Darkness I am afraid and wish to stay away
Push me to take the right turn
Hope not my dreams sway
Blame you for nothing
Might not be able to take it
Reasons to get frustrated on anything
Smile on your face you will not be able to fake it
Let there be light
Pure and bright
Shining on the path you walk
Guiding you right
Let all evil flight,
Don't Allow Satan
To take control of your life,
Or you'll be forever trapped
In darkness searching for light
The light of Christ burns bright
Giving true hope and Sight
A bara k'davra
I shall create what I say
With ten such utterances
God brought our world into play

Note: According to the Rabbis of
the Talmud, God created the world
with ten statements, the first of
which was 'Let there be Light.'
one with oneness
all there then is
is bliss energised calm
we are love and light
a step distant, polarised
yet interconnected
tweets of love are emoted
attention oscillations begin
what is there to be said
of separation and ignorance
where feral lust dominates
darkness shrouds darkness
Lord The Light, Of Your Word Is Shining;
To My Ears And My Spirit Brightening!
Great To Know;
Loud, Loud's My Hope!
Shine Jesus Shine,
Fill The Earth With God's
Strength And Glory!
Shine Jesus Shine
And Then Let There Be Light!
And she could have looked left
And he could have looked right
But G-d smiled down and He let there be light
All the right things were spoken in silence between
She understood secrets that weighed his soul down
The first of a moment, allowed them a dream
In the abyss of lost hope, predestined to drown
Let there be Light !
Let me show you the world
Through my eyes
See what underlies
The revolving sky's
Said the Pastor to the sheep
The future is bleak
When there is nothing left to be inherited by the meek
With the Planet bounding like a yoyo on a string
As it has run out of secrects worth discovering
Nature’s lightning bugs
bear own bulbs from eve to morn
radiating hope…
…tasked as paradise lanterns
by the Creator of light.*
*Genesis 1:3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

ow!
my shin!
stupid coffee table
hands outstretched
inch by inch
one step at a time
careful
careful
there's the wall
azure paint
meaningless in the dark
my fingers find the switch
let there be light
Prism People
WE are but rays reflecting the sun
scattered hues of our creator
cascading down centuries like falling stars
reaching earth a lot less dimmer than WE left heaven
Blood stained skies reveals the sun
red,blue and yellow
Primary in Colors
reflecting the One
because it ALL depends on eyesight
WE
rays of sun
LET THERE BE LIGHT!
For anointing our lives
Through the warmth of our chest
We are beautifully blessed
You have seen us serve
Teach all we have learned
This spiritual art
Spoke the depth of our heart
Through your glorious dome
We have called home
Our Lord gave sight
Let there be light
Protected and respect
We are always connected
Our glow illume
Your mirror at bloom
The greatest poem ever written,
The one unpublished yet! Unread!
The poet, fully aware
The hand frozen in mid air
The unmarked page waits anxiously…
The ward ready to declare
The voice speaks excitedly
Let there be light!
The pen begins to write…
And many years later,
Into the heart of that poem
All look and see nothing! Then wonder,
What had really been written!

Life is a dancing frequency
and being off key
can cost you to lose your soul
and return back to the abyss.
Nothing can escape the void.
Unless, you stare it in the eyes
and it stares back.
And then what?
Be Bold!
Be Brave!
Be Fearless!
Have Courage!
And, if you stare long enough.
Victory shall be yours.
Then you too, shall say: Let there be light!

We Are The Truth
No vocal cords disturbed the air;
none said “Let there be light.”
There were no cords.
There was no air.
There was only might.
The thing itself comprised the word;
the thing revealed the might.
It was not cords.
It was not air.
It was only light.
The truth’s not what we say it is;
it’s only that which is.
Say what we want,
it’s not the truth;
but our saying of it is.
When you nourish yourself, your life will flourish
Love yourself as you would love others
You deserve to feel fulfilled and self care gets you there
Make time to relax and for things that you enjoy
Simple things can make all the difference, let there be light
You will see the weights will fall like autumn leaves
- problems will wilt and you will bloom -

Where there is doubt, let there be faith
Where there is hatred, let there be love
Where there is darkness, let the light shine
Let there be love--Let there be love
Let there be light shining bright.
Where there is sadness, let joy reign
Where there is war, let there be peace
Where there is sickness, let there be health
Let there be love--Let there be love
Let there be light shining bright.

Father showed us how to care
Clarity of stream
How I have seen
God brightness peaks through
I could not ignore I just knew
God carefully shown
Heaven our home
A reason to gather
Has always been laughter
God is always working
Our heart did the giving
Virtuous sight
Let there be light
This truth was given
To make us listen
God raised our bar
To show who we are
God cured our thirst
We are the salt of the earth

Holding the world in my hands
Upon
My passion bed
I dream
To sleep
Until i lust
Then and only then
Let me show you the world
Through my eye's
Let there be light
Let me right the world's wrongs
Let all who dwell upon her belong
If only for the longest day
It takes a hand to wrap around
