high spirited historians have had hissy high-jinx over alternative facts
interestingly, instilling intentional intellectual events with integrity intact
juxtaposing jurisprudence juggling judgmental journalism best they can
Keeping knowledge kosher
legalizing ledgers in the land

Be leaved
In your redemption
As whole
Leave is unworthy
Of spirit
Usual day
Ends of spittle held
Under nectars perch, hast child as babe
Layed beneath wounds crown?
Neither beckon of blankets coldened ease
Wells, as slavic despondent ledgers
Nor, blathering distinct indemptions buffet
Break winds towards lightnings laughter

Dusty lonely antique chair
lost your lustre modern fare
whittled wooden hardback saddle
broken wheeled tipping mantle
Covering floor with aged graces
missing party interfaces
one time sat a master...mistress,
now forgotten sitting listless
What accounts you must bestow
stories written young and old
ledgers full of erudition,
...alphabetic composition
Once a time of well oiled use
forgotten,time has made recluse....

A Tyrant of black
Lounging in his tower of glass
Surveying all his domain
A Merchant of gold
Sitting in his mansion of bronze
Calculating in his voluminous ledgers
A Soldier of grey
Patrolling his streets of stone
Upholding the nations peace
A Worker of brown
Toiling at his labor in a steel factory
Trying to feed his starving family
A Man of white
Walking the brick alleys of a world in decline
Seeking the necessities he rarely has

The Atlantic and her hissing,
Puncturing beyond ears to listen,
Her roar awakens creativity,
Her mind opens all activity
She births knowledge
The Atlantic and her known song,
Cascades ledgers and clefs;
She rises deeply with her surge,
With echoes unending as she hit shores
Her tuneful melody welcomes gaiety
The Atlantic and her ravishing view,
Revealing truth beyond sight
Her edges are borderless
Her curve is endless
She is life in its entirety

Verse
Shrinking down now,
With each passing day,
Figures fading,
Slipping away.
Diminishing slowly,
Bit by bit they wane,
Until just,
Numbers remain.
Sitting on pages,
In ledgers and books,
Only a trace remains.
Diminishing,fading,
Almost out of sight,
Reduced to mere digits,
No longer alight.
A Financial Phantom,
Once bold and so clear,
Now just a number,
Devoid of all cheer.
Accounting's faint echo,
A numerical scar,
Vanishing softly,
Quiet and far.

Rhyme
Our nature is to dream,
and want to win what we don't have now.
When disappointed,
wouldn't it be nice to have the ability to be patient,
when we don't get what we want this minute.
When enthusiasm is diminished due to a loss,
can't we learn to resist,
letting it put a damper on trying new things.
Then we might realize winning could be in the excitement generated by
sharing, and being caught up in the enjoyment of a moment, with a friend.
Valuable to our spirits,
not our ledgers.
