Here comes Paula Sinner
quick, hide all of the liquor!
Broke, leaching without a job
yet and still she is a snob!

Unweaned
Evening, and I hurry home to wait
The coming night
The shadows dancing at the gate
The long delight
The jasmines thin white dress
The fragrant milk
The soft, rich silk
The tongue leaching the breast...

Jaded Poetry Writer
Tormented by writers block
I stare for hours at the clock
Leaching tears, I feel so blue
My missing muse - where are you?

Learch In Church
Learch In Church
I like leaching, leaping and larking
Set your light on fire that now is sparking
Not embark but find canoe made of birch
Learn how to paddle lazy self to church.
Sound familiar?

Leached Sand
The cloud-enshrined sun
The waves leaching away the sand
A whole world undone
Rose rayonnante de perle
Soleil soudé aux nuages
Un sourire de mère
Mussed baby petals
A rose-stem cut ere the thorn
A life rudely shorn...

Loveley Rose
Lively as a rose
Outragous as the sound
Variety of personality
Evermore to soar
Leaching for somemore
Everytime I search
Yet always I get the back of the earth
Reaching for the stars
Over the moon and out
Searching for that someone
Even in a sense im on my own throughout...

Dreams
Terrible dreams, nightmare hellish screams, tormented minds locked in a dream of unfathomable things of unthinkable things. Terrible dreams of tormented souls with half disfigured faces leaching into the minds of unknowing soul's. What dreams may come into the night probing fiercely into the minds to fright....

Bitterness
The robber of peace
Leaching into the soul
Like a bitter damp cold
Seeping into the bones
Harboring resentments
That long have passed
In time, but not memory
Its skill is honed
Eating away at joy
With each passing day
Until it destroys
All peaceful tones
Leaving one’s life
Empty and void
Spreading its tentacles
Out to be cloned...

Uniqueness
To be unique
akin to be safe from from an imitation
though is hard
to be such a claimant
but what good can I not
do to save my life
from leaching or leaking
if it is from a prey
mine is a culprit
and now it is like a story
but how and how
can I be blown
though a life of a wishing
but how an imitation
for little or more?....

Haven'T Been On For Days
there you are scared fish days
won' t you find your way
easy to stay
wasn't it so easy to say
i find you reaching
footprints on sand are leaching
steps where we are
situations involved in
here we are together right now
breaking the written word structure again
so if you were to ask
no i haven't been on
if anyone was to hear you
would you let them listen long ?...

I do not know?
From This Earth
From this earth, this dark soul
leaching to the sea, biding
in silence beneath the trees,
and by my calloused hands,
washed by sighs, fed on the
drip, drip, drip of need,
I have wrought a being
that might yet prove fit to be with
you. Come, till the soil of these,
my parched and stunted roots,
and let us shoot into the
green promise of tomorrow....

Shades of Autumn
At last, a welcomed light Autumn breeze,
Whistling passed steepled roofs,
Gently lifting branches of the bowing sycamore trees
Lining dull gray sidewalks still toasty warm
From the sweltering heat of the day before;
Departing summer flees threads of deep purple clouds
Leaching westward from the eastern sky,
Inky streams clawing their way into lighter shades of dusk,
The new season has cast her dye....

Morning Reflections
I'm surprised,
this morning the body pain
that is my usual sleeping partner
had melted away.
Strange because I had dreamt
that my eyes were full of blood.
A horrifying nightmare.
Maybe there is something going on
akin to a spiritual leaching;
bad blood drained way
new wine under old skin.
I don't wish to brag though,
the mirror still reflects
a rusty bag of nails
and two bloodshot eyes....

A Widower's Depression
The encumbrance of
life
Copious and
never-ending
A leaching
gangrenous wound
In need of
dismemberment
From his torpid soul
The medicinal
elixirs have raped
the mind
And replaced it with
a dense syrup
That makes
cognition, onerous
He cares for nothing
Feels nothing—is
nothing
A means to an end
Has him captivated
Fixated on the task
Relief is at hand
But he lacks the
strength and courage...

Dirty Hands
Your dirty hands upon me.
I tremble at the thought.
Begging let my spirit free.
The mad militia I have fought.
Love still binds my heart to you,
despite the freely dripping blood.
Your presence on a raging coup,
leaching my shell changing blue.
Ripping the loaded gun so cold
from your hot and beating hand.
You tackle me to the floor I fold.
Tis a miracle I land.
I am one and one with God.
Through him the hand we have declawed....

Stray Parts Return
When I open an old book
of your images
odd, truncated visions,
gilings clipped from once longer threads,
fall out;
something else,
a partial picture of what we left in each other.
I am modulated by memory,
the slow simmer of a salmagundi’s
long lingering throes and pangs.
There is much more
but the fade-out is leaching
your light away.
Maybe one day
we will catch each other’s breaths,
be bundled together
as close as newborn lambs
in a mutual wool of remembrance....
