A thick smog, none alike.
Where thoughts dwell
bundled up tight.
An intruding sight
holding its ground.
No longer safe and sound.

I do not know?
Such loving words whispered in my ears
Such intruding hands running through my skin
Such brutal teeth haunting my flesh
Ocean eyes washing your trace away
I'm losing the only thing you left

I will not want
To see you again,
From my thoughts
I shall suppress
You forever.
And even if you
Would pass through me
Again
I will be gone while
You’re intruding.

Intruding fingers
Linger at the hollow of her back.
Heart fluttering in anticipation
She holds her breath.

Ghosts
lost, invasive
floating, haunting, wailing
Houses, Mirrors, Mansions, Chandeliers
levitating , intruding, lamenting
aimless, meddlesome
Spirits.

scarlet moments
in late evening
turns
ash gray
as
temperamental
winds gather,
display,
placing themselves
in concentration,
obnoxious
and overbearing
in nature,
intruding,
fully challenging
the outcome
of the night.

Spirit alerts the dogs first
They have senses humans cannot name
In tune with the intruding entity, they cannot stop barking
What is it? Asks my husband
Ghosts, I say
How do you know?
Can you see anything?
No.
That’s how I know.

Stomped by intruding and invasive breed,
Foul footprint of this year is a misdeed -
Two weighty boots with heavy tread
Stirred quite a lot of dirt and dread.
COVID and DONALD just will not concede!

Hanging from willows
weeping
sludge slimy green
fouls
this page
of intended pristine.
Intruding on this peaceful
clean
sits your polluted
trespass
tainting all who pass
through this life.
Ugly is your name.
Deceit is your shame.

Unexplored, pristine place,
Untouched by man…
How quietly you lie…
With no intruding voice.
Leaves, covering leaves,
Branches lying all around…
Silently, they lie.
Quiet! Silence abounds!
Frozen still-life!
Lovely choice…

About this show,
My girls are amused,
Interrupting my sports,
Intruding my news,
To the television,
Their eyes are glued,
Ignoring mom cries,
Snacks or food,
So a series,
I just viewed,
And I thought it was,
Oh so rude,
On a talk show,
Girls fighting half nude,
I found it unpalatable,
I found it lewd..

i am the
delectable dreamer
of times past and possibilities of those to come
but you are a recurrent theme
intruding ever so sweetly
on my sleeping thoughts
my daydreams
my life
each breath
now that your face has become
familiar to my
nighttime oasis
i can't help seeing your eyes
behind mine

Abruptly intruding this perfect day
Ruining a gorgeous view of the sun
Originally I had felt this way
Yearning for such a sight not to be done
Great winds tried to hold the colors at bay
But in that moment their brightness had won
If the storm hadn't put on such a show
Viewers would have missed this beautiful bow

Very puzzling, the Piercing Eye
When people stare as they walk by
Why such an intruding gaze
For a stranger in this city maze
Is it something dark or hidden
Or thoughts otherwise forbidden
Perhaps they don’t like what they see
A difference that’s perceived in me
I know that I intend to try
Not to give the Piercing Eye

morning’s dawn cracks the night
shadows dance upon the light
petals blink and yawn some more
mist hovering over, sun rose before
splendid images of natures decor
clouds intruding the big blue sky
a rain kettle fills drawing nigh
winds are swaying trees to and fro
thunder rolling and lightening glow
all ends with a double rainbow

Memories scarcely recollected
as if the frail pictures hold traces of
shame—no, not shame—
a contemptuous emotion strung
upon such intruding truths,
basking and waiting
for words to record its frumpy
existence—gone . . .
There is a fear lurking where
honesty resides, as blades
of apathy slash away at the edges
of time—making way for
distant sadness. . .and a cool blur of
Heartless

Her gait strides past me with captivation
Nothingtheless howling with tranquility;
That tranquil soul lingers with inevitably.
The forcing blow left me in a billowing nation,
Pondering this thought ‘is this my revelation?’
The next unique soul has an intruding pace
In a decelerated motion unlike her peers.
Although the great wall of wind interferes,
Who could dare replace
Our hearts embrace?

I pray for peace.
Ain't no love in these streets,
People crying, children dying
Now the world is on a leash.
Scared to go out,
and Living in fear with doubt.
People concluding,
The media always intruding,
A lot of people are stuck in confusion.
Love & Peace,
Not war.
So open your soul to what is in sight.
Be thankful for your blessings, never judge
and Always do what is right.

A Room with a view
Tight-dressed woman, heaving heart
Sizing hips for overweight
My inside motive
Lust leads me fly half a mile
To indulge storming senses.
Vision I nurtured
Years back, intruding my thoughts
A swarming brain, empty bed.
Now expanding stain
Like crowded private bookcase
Gathering dust, vision blurred.

Clusters of humanity cackle past,
their cocoons of cheap beer and sunscreen.
Afternoon inertia.
The scorching red of a languid sun.
They take a stroll among the flying shades
animated by an intruding breeze,
and the cigarettes that meet
their violent end.
The waves beat a shuddering retreat.
And the crunching shells under the feet.

Future
Trying to write about the future
Is almost impossible without the past
Intruding talking about yesteryear.
Perhaps the future is like a thousand
Mirror reflecting itself endlessly.
I know there will be wars it is our burden
The opposite coin of love.
There is no vista opening-up
A panorama of beauty, but there will
Be moments when the glam of war stills,
When sea and sky meet in an embrace
Of utter tranquillity, and for a second
We think life is worth living.

Blank verse
I stopped just once to look back..
And saw my tracks across the snow.
Steps upon that pure white blanket,
Wishing I’d found another way to go.
Already though, in gentle downy flakes,
Nature began to fill those intruding marks.
And return the gentle winter splendor
To that serene and lovely woodland park.
The sun was sinking to its rest,
Leaving its sparkle on the forest floor.
I smiled and turned for home again…
My tired heart at peace once more
