Very puzzling, the Piercing Eye When people stare as they walk by Why such an intruding gaze For a stranger in this city maze Is it something dark or hidden Or thoughts otherwise forbidden Perhaps they don’t like what they see A difference that’s perceived in me I know that I intend to try Not to give the Piercing Eye
