Premium Member would it still be poetry

What is poetry…well
Y’know, like when
A thought is captured by an idea
Held hostage
By a pencil
Interrogated
By itself
Answering wordlessly
If I knew
……………would it still be poetry

I turn, look around ~
Across the room, there she sits ~ ~
Head raised, our eyes meet ~ ~
Emerald gems allure me ~
My mind interrogated ~

Interrogation

I am being interrogated about the void.

But the void is not complete without me.

Each day, being permeated again.

With a whisper that drags me.

With the strong grip of a lonely shadow.

I am not complete without the void.

Premium Member I Forgive

I forgive
I forgive your arrogance
Matched by your ignorance
Interrogated by malevolence
I took you condescension
Your hidden intentions
Your lying invention
Politeness deterred prevention
I’m glad there was no extension

Premium Member When Mark Reached Heaven

When Mark reached heaven
He expected to be interrogated.
He was used to this.
No one asked him anything.

He thought he would be judged.
This was his go-to-position.
No one judged him.

He thought death meant dead.
Not realizing he had a soul.
Mark had gotten it all wrong.

THE HEARTLESS PLOT

Interrogated, tortured
And killed (dissolved in acid)
Just the way
The Government had willed and ordered.
An oppositional voice
Finally stilled.
On the home soil
His blood was spilled.
Exposing the cruelty of our government
And their sick agents
Who hatched such a heartless plot.

My Epididymis

I doubt that it exists my epididymis.
It quite mystifies me my epididymis.
Onan had one, too,I guess an epididymis.
But what he did with his epididymis
Was not considered rightidymis.
Now Onan and I have a pact:
Don't ask and don't tell
About the fact
And when interrogated as to its whereabouts
Deny everything.

Old Poet Interrogated

A student asks the old poet why
he has spent so many years
writing. The old poet says

no one’s asked him that before.
He needs a minute to answer.
Finally he says writing a poem

is like becoming a father. You do it
because of the process and not
because of the poem.

A poem doesn’t always arrive
but it’s the process that
keeps him writing.

Tactical and Radical Sabbatical

One picture appears to be ovaries.

said our rosaries
please protect our ovaries
here and overseas

on sabbatical
that had become tactical
being radical

investigated
then we had contemplated
interrogated

seemed stimulated
proving prevaricated
so poorly stated

had tolerated
was never educated
eradicated

while an allusion
would have caused much confusion
disturbed by delusion
