Moments solidify in steps
Seeming to climb toward stars
Forming sections as a patch piece
Inlaid by thoughts....

Conditioning

Is seemingly

What we are..

Patterns inlaid

Are there for

Comparisons..so that

An appearance might

Be labeled and

Understood..

Such a story may

Arise......

Have You
Have you seen galloping horses
Thundering across the grassy plains?
A rush of wind breaking free.

Have you heard scrabbling tutles
Scratching hopelessly at their tanks?
A ghost’s desperate moan.

Have you stroked a baby bunny,
Felt its delicate fur on its bones?

Have you sucked some gummy bears,

Emancipation
There is no word for the barn-burning
Dream I didn't have in my mouth,
Tasting like blade, running like blood,
Through the inlaid veins of the kite.
There is no dictionary writing at the tip
Of the inky quill of time suspended,
Time adorned, time wombed and born.
The rose swallowed the bee ant the sting
Burned a whole, the size of a day apart
Into the heart of the vowels running amok
The seesaw earthiness of the ethereal self....

If i were King my Crown would reign
Of the purest gold from the Sun
Inlaid with precious gems and a cross of platinum

Blue sapphires and emeralds of green
Red rubies and diamonds galore
Topaz of orange and enormous pearls adore

With the softest velvet underneath for the head of the King
Alternating points of Lions and eagles
Silver fleur-de-lys arch so regal

My Crown would inspire songs to sing
If I were King
If I were King...
