Fire

As the fire crackles and flares,
through the hearth with smoke.

Silencing the Fire

Released from
the inferno
Tongue of Satan
to betray
Saving words
from his fury
Muting the serpent

Burning the Night

The smell of dark smoke,
                                 Fiery waves of inferno

You and those commanding eyes, set me on fire.
No reasoning, no intellectuality, could ever quell
my inferno-like desires.

Love's Inferno 2k11

Decending well into its inferno,
A realm of beauty, a furnace of love;
Not the frightfully "Dante's Inferno".
When hearts are ablaze; What colors of love!

The Avowal

Alone in my own ruin,
This soul aches, deep from within.....

Sweet Release

stand next to the fire
feel the flame
watch the smoke
rising higher and higher
look into the heart
of this white hot inferno
as you palpate
that sweet, sweet release

Not Love, But Rage

I became a soulless, void shell
After being faced with an inferno of rage from the person who should have bundled me into their arms,
And faced me with love and reassurance.

Waiting For the Alarm

Within the tragedy of a broken dream
   rages a fiery lost inferno

Where we burn in fearful anticipation
—waiting for the alarm to sound

(Las Vegas Nevada: January, 2016)

A Man

A man is an inferno in his youth
But in middle age a
Crisis threatening to engulf him in flames errupts
Do not fear the fire my friend!
You're the eagle and the sky belongs to you
age

The Inferno

Unleash the monstrous beasts
                    From valleys of inferno
                            Rage them in darkness
                                   Till world switches to hell.

The joy I feel, unbounded.
  Love's tolling bell has sounded

From a faint sound to a crescendo
Once a spark, now a raging inferno

Quiver

I can make you quiver like jello
shake like a quake
burn like an inferno
sweat from the heat
glow from the embers
drunk on the passion
this is just the beginning
I'm just getting started

Defining Love

Love-
Walk a park?
Putrid fruits?
Butterflies- inferno?
None of the above

Frown, dear love.
Frown.

In love-twitch,
Twitch.
Quaver, Stutter
Unsound

Poetic lines, cherished love.

The Inferno

surely
as i was
going to hell

i must have
skipped
a level

where the boiling
was maybe six
minutes or

a little more
Alighieri
don't you

like
your
pasta

to
be al
dante

Optimistic Sinner

Burning alive just to pass time
My face melts against fire and brimstone.
Eternal inferno, the furnace glows
with the need for more fuel.
I am not damned, I am alive.

Dystopia

Standing at the brink of our new world
I gaze into the majestic landscape.
I see a novel synthetic fraternity
Shining lights of discovery –
Teetering on the edge
Of a blazing dystopian inferno.

Inferno

A smoky inferno dimmed the sun
No language on Earth
Can capture the feeling
Of human life loss
Kind words anchor your heart
Your thoughts are with the Heavenly stars
The soul is trapped in silence.
