An inclement clown
Overly cautious
To never reveal
Anything of himself
Hiding under the façade
Of inappropriate humor
An awkward conundrum

To an impractical person
Like a figure of our imagination
Nothing can be certain
And whatever form they take
You can't be sure of their version
I'm trying to reconcile
What can and what should be
And as I navigate insecure waters
I still hope for bounty
Yes suffering brings the taste of gall,
cultres rise and then they fall,
man is the worst enemy of all,
his money greed impractical.....
when death walks down his hall.
Great leaders needed by our call,
great faith for the divided,
might be provided,
if a man of concience, all,
is not denied us?

I love myself ok most days,
other times my own worst enemy.
Sometimes I just like myself;
yet there's a deep rooted longing
to be someone somewhere else
because I don't like being me!
I like my romantic side,
my practical side,
the impractical and creative side,
but where's my specific place
in the practical working world?

Just as surely
My mind is also a meadow
Choked with out-of-control
Wild creations

May seem attractive to another’s eyes

To live in

*That Pass*
*With this impractical*
..mistake
*Of settling on*
..History
*As My fatal*
..Faith
She Wrecks
*and she Racks*
*Out the door*
I go

Those illusive orbs
Some fall to the ground and burst
Some caught in strong winds pop in air
Others continue to soar
Up and out of sight
Those are the hopes
Our hearts want to follow
Impossible, improbable, impractical
Our hearts soar with them anyway
